Midea Group Chairman Fang Hongbo states that there will be no major mergers and acquisitions within three years

On June 5, Fang Hongbo, Chairman and President of Midea Group, said at the 2025 annual shareholders’ meeting of Midea Group that in response to investors’ questions about dividends, the company will not carry out major mergers and acquisitions within three years, and it should not act impulsively. It will also not make major capital expenditures, and in principle, the net profit for the year will be used to reward shareholders. The direction for improving investment returns will not change.
