Deep Tide TechFlow News: On June 11, according to Cointelegraph, Delaware and New Jersey have advanced legislation to fully ban cryptocurrency ATMs. Among them, the Delaware House Economic Committee has passed House Bill 441, which would ban the possession, installation, or operation of cryptocurrency ATMs, and requires that the relevant equipment be dismantled within 90 days after the bill takes effect, with a maximum fine of $10,000 for violations.

The New Jersey Senate Commerce Committee has also unanimously passed a similar bill: the maximum fine is $10,000 for a first violation and $20,000 for repeat offenses. The report said that the legislative push is driven by concerns in multiple U.S. states that cryptocurrency ATMs are being used for scams.
