This storyline could definitely be turned into a three-season American TV series!
Do you know who the female crypto billionaire in the US is, who was scammed out of 60 million RMB?
The text mentions that this mining pool, at its peak, was said to have accounted for 9% of the total Bitcoin hash rate worldwide, and is the CEO of a computing power technology company in a southwestern Chinese province,
It appears to be Lu Yongshuang from WanYou Computing Power / Valarhash.
Evidence one: Products under Valarhash/WanYou Computing Power include BytePool, 1THash, 1TMine, Nelson Hash Power Manager. MinerUpdate reported in 2019 that BytePool and 1THash together accounted for over 9% of the Bitcoin network hash rate.
Evidence two: According to public records, Chengdu WanYou Computing Power Technology Co., Ltd. is registered at No. 1, Building 2, 8 Jian She Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, which is in the southwestern region.
Evidence three: The US reports also mention that in the Al Zubair brothers' scam case, the largest part involved a Chinese investor, with losses of about 17.8 to 18 million USD;
The brothers claimed to own Nela Park Industrial Park, aiming to build a cryptocurrency mining farm, luring the victim to send over 1,000 mining machines, which were later seized and resold.
So it's most likely the boss of WanYou!
This method is essentially the same as my previous experience: my original article titled "A Japanese meal worth 80 BTC, damn, it’s really a good meal!"
Besides me, I’ve also been exploited, and over the years, I’ve seen many friends around me get scammed. I later realized that the wealthier someone is, the more easily they fall for “higher-level illusions.”
The truly terrifying trick is that the scammer is really good at what they do.
What do they excel at?
They just happen to tell a story you want to believe: royal resources, government connections, overseas mining farms, electricity resources, special channels, exclusive opportunities, circles others can't access.
Who doesn’t want to get into a higher-level poker game? The richer people are, the more they want to upgrade their status. Plus, they are overconfident about earning too much wealth, so they often don’t believe they could be scammed.
