One trade completely changed the way I approach the market.
Back in 2021, I bought into a project after seeing everyone talk about it online. The price was pumping hard and I was convinced it would keep going higher. Instead of taking profits, I kept holding because I wanted more.
A few days later, the market reversed and most of my gains disappeared.
Looking back, the loss wasn’t the important part. The lesson was. That trade taught me that greed can be more dangerous than being wrong. Since then, I’ve focused much more on risk management, setting targets, and sticking to a plan.
I still make mistakes, but that experience made me a better trader.
