I’m more tangled up about “where to put my coins” than choosing which coin to buy… The other day, there was another wave of cross-chain bridge theft, and I was literally sweating through my palms. Later, when the oracle reported an error and everyone just said they were “waiting for confirmation,” honestly it was basically code for don’t rush to move.

When my assets were small, I thought a mobile wallet was enough. But once there’s a bit of size to manage, a hardware wallet can at least block some basic ways people screw up—like an accidental “slip of the hand” or getting phished. Further still, I really don’t want a single seed phrase to decide life or death, so multi-signature feels more reassuring—but it’s also genuinely more troublesome. Even when you’re out, you have to spend half an eternity thinking about signing something. Social recovery really tempts me; it’s suitable for people with bad memories or who are afraid of losing keys. But picking the wrong guardian is also pretty awkward…

After I added settings like reminders/limits for myself, my mindset changed clearly: before, I always worried about “what if.” Now it’s “either way, if I go over the limit I can’t move,” and my anxiety drops by half—then the rest is on discipline. That’s it for now—please don’t let me hear the liquidation alarm again.
