Lately, on-chain data keeps "stuttering," not because my internet is bad (though maybe… ), but mostly because the indexer/Subgraph/RPC behind the scenes is queuing up. The moment you open the page, it first has to ask the RPC for the block height and events, and since RPCs are rate-limited and respond slowly; the indexer also needs to process the logs of new blocks into the database. When there's a reorganization or high load, it can create the illusion of "just had data, now it's gone."

To put it simply, on-chain data isn't tap water; especially during busy times, it's more like the rush hour subway. When blockchain games experience inflation + studio activity + a spiral in token prices, on-chain interactions suddenly surge, and read requests explode as well. The frontend then appears even more laggy… I now assume there's about a 1-2 block delay, and I leave some buffer in my strategy so I won't be thrown off by flickering data.
