I tried it once—using testnet points to practice—and the more I farmed, the more it started to feel like I was chasing KPIs. My mindset instantly flipped from “a familiar process” to “did I miss a freebie…?” At that point, the stop-loss I set for myself was honestly kind of old-school: I only leave myself a fixed 30 minutes a day, and if I go over, I just close the page. Anything that asks me to sign frequently, change the RPC, or install plugins I don’t recognize—I skip it straight away. Even if the points are tempting, they’re not worth it.

Recently, hardware wallets have been out of stock, and phishing links are everywhere. In times like this high-incidence period, you have to admit you’re the type to get an itch to click—so on the process side, I first isolate anything that can be “lost”: create a new small account, use zero authorization, and once I’m done, clear/revoke all permissions. After all, practice is meant to make me more stable—not to train myself into the kind of person who’s easier to get scammed.
