Recently, many people have been asking how to do Pi Network's KYC. I'll share my experience in hopes of helping everyone.
Honestly, when I first did the Pi KYC, I was a bit confused. I saw online that some people said it could take several months, and some were even rejected multiple times. But I eventually found out it's not that complicated; the key is to be well-prepared. First, you need to meet the basic requirements: be at least 18 years old, have a government-issued ID (a passport is best), and have mined for more than 30 days. If these are all met, the entire Pi KYC process can be completed in about 10 minutes.
So, how exactly do you do it? First, install the Pi Browser on your phone, then open the Pi Network app. Find the mainnet section, complete all the tasks in the checklist, and the last step is to submit your KYC application. Once inside, select your country, upload a photo of your ID—Nigerian users can use either an international passport or NIN. Remember to ensure good lighting, a clear face photo, and that it matches the photo on your ID. Then fill out the form with your name, birthday, ID number, and other details. Finally, do the live verification. That’s basically the entire Pi KYC process.
After submitting, it’s just a matter of waiting. The time varies—if you’re lucky, it might take a few minutes; if not, it could take a long time. It mainly depends on whether your information is accurate and whether there are enough verification personnel in your country. My advice is not to keep staring at it after submitting; check your profile every few days to see if there’s a green checkmark. If your KYC remains pending for over a month, you can try to find a relevant solution.
By the way, the entire Pi KYC verification is reviewed by at least two verified people from your country, which helps ensure the process is more rigorous. The fee is 1 Pi coin, as a reward for the verifiers. Overall, don’t be scared by those intimidating claims—just follow the steps carefully, and Pi KYC isn’t that difficult.
