I saw Arkham's report on Vitalik and frankly, it's interesting. Vitalik Buterin's net worth has been updated to around $833 million, almost all concentrated in his cryptocurrency holdings. Most of it comes from that massive allocation of ETH at the launch in 2015.

Here's the striking data: Vitalik still holds about 245,000 ETH, which at current prices is worth around $831 million. In 2021, when ETH surged above $3,000 for a moment, he was effectively a billionaire, although he never flaunted it much. He has always said he doesn't want to exceed 0.9% of the total, and looking at the numbers, it seems he has maintained this position.

What emerges from Vitalik Buterin's net worth is that his holdings have decreased over time, both due to sales and the network's inflationary structure. But he remains the largest individual holder of ETH, ahead of anyone else. Exchanges and institutional managers dominate the overall rankings, but as a single individual, he has no rivals.

In addition to ETH, he also owns other tokens like KNCL, WETH, DEGEN, and investments in projects like StarkNet. The figure you see, nearly a billion, is probably conservative. There are undisclosed holdings and potentially non-cryptographic assets that we don't know about. Vitalik Buterin's net worth could easily be higher.
ETH-2.66%
DEGEN-6.9%
STRK-4.92%
