Just read that Arkham has revalued Vitalik Buterin's current assets—and the numbers are interesting. Vitalik Buterin's net worth is now estimated to be around $833 million, mostly from his ETH holdings.
The fascinating part: With the current ETH price of $2,290 per token, his approximately 245,000 ETH are worth significantly less than they were recently. His wealth fluctuates greatly with the market. In 2021, he was briefly a billionaire when ETH rose above $3,000—now much less. This shows how closely Vitalik Buterin's wealth is tied to the crypto markets.
Also interesting: He supposedly never holds more than 0.9% of all ETH, even though he could have had much more as a founder. He also has positions in projects like StarkNet and tokens like WETH and DEGEN. However, Arkham emphasizes that these estimated $833 million are conservative—undisclosed holdings could be added.
What do you think—is Vitalik Buterin's wealth actually impressive or rather modest for one of the founders of Ethereum?
