Just read that Arkham has estimated Vitalik Buterin’s current wealth at nearly $834 million. Crazy when you consider that the Ethereum founder briefly cracked the billion-dollar mark in 2021 when ETH was above $3,000 per token. Today, the price is around $2,320—significantly lower. His known holdings are said to include roughly 245,278 ETH, which amounts to about $569 million at the current rate. What’s interesting is that Vitalik has never focused his wealth solely on Ethereum. In addition to ETH, he also has positions in projects like StarkNet and other tokens such as WETH or DEGEN. Over the years, his share of ETH has even decreased—partly due to sales, partly because of network inflation. He has always claimed that he never holds more than 0.9 percent of all ETH, and that appears to have been confirmed. Among the major individual holders, Vitalik Buterin’s wealth is still impressive, even if institutional players and exchanges have long surpassed him in absolute numbers. However, the $834 million should be viewed more conservatively—undisclosed holdings could push the real figure significantly higher. Wild to see how much crypto wealth depends on price movements.
