📊 Hacker Launders $176M in Crypto Assets



The hacker who breached Kelp has begun laundering stolen assets. According to on-chain analyst ZachXBT, on April 21, the attacker converted about $1.5 million worth of Ethereum into Bitcoin via THORChain and another $78,000 through the Umbra protocol.

Security firm PeckShield also detected movements totaling $176 million across THORChain, Umbra, Chainflip, and BitTorrent.

Analyst EmberCN noted that after coins were frozen on the Arbitrum network, the cybercriminal withdrew approximately 75,700 ETH, valued at around $175 million, from Ethereum.
