A 75% ceasefire probability is becoming the graveyard for crypto bulls

Do you have someone like this around you?

You see the news—there’s a U.S.-Iran ceasefire—and oil prices crash, and you get excited and rush in to go long on Bitcoin. “Inflation is falling! The Fed is turning dovish! Risk On!”

So what happens next?

Bitcoin drops nearly 3%, Ethereum falls more than 3.6%, and more than 160,000 liquidations happen across the entire market in 24 hours.

Oil prices fall 8%, but the crypto market collapses first.

Confused?

Good—because the “good news” you’re seeing is the exit reason others laid out and positioned for three months ago.

First, look at what happened with oil prices.

Last week, WTI crude surged from $83.5 all the way to $94.3—that’s the process of war risk premium being priced in step by step, with every piece of news pushing oil prices higher.

Then on July 24, Trump stopped attacks on Iran. WTI slid from $94.3, and even before the weekend close it was still at $91.7.

On Monday, it opened with a gap down.

From Friday’s close of $91.7, it instantly fell to $85.3, and then slid to $84. Over three trading days, the drop was nearly 11%.

WTI ultimately closed at $82.61, down 7.5%. Brent was worse, down 8.7% to $88.36.

This isn’t a decline—this is a free fall.

But the problem is—this “good news” was already priced in.

Polymarket data shows the market’s bet on the probability of a ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran being reached before August 31 is already at 75%.

75%.

When everyone knows “a ceasefire is coming,” how much war risk premium is still left in oil prices to fall?

Not much.

You think an 8% drop in oil prices is a big positive? Wrong. Even after oil falls from $100 to $82, there’s still a large amount of war risk premium that hasn’t been fully flushed out. Before the war, Brent was only around $72.

In other words—

Oil hasn’t even finished falling to where it needs to, while ceasefire expectations are already basically fully priced in.

Even more dangerous is the transmission chain.

Oil price crashes → inflation expectations fall → probability of the Fed rate hikes decreases → expectations for easier liquidity → risk assets rise.

This chain looks fine.

The problem is: the market has already traded the script of “oil drops → liquidity loosens” in advance.

By the weekend, Bitcoin even surged back above $65,000. You think that was the starting point?

That was the end point.

Early on Monday in the Asia session, the crypto market was still chasing higher on the momentum of “good news” from oil’s crash. Then what happened? Bitcoin slid from above $65,600 all the way down, breaking below $64,000. Ethereum fell more than 3.6%, while Dogecoin and Solana fell more than 4%.

More than 160,000 liquidations.

Others are greedy while the ceasefire is happening—you’re taking the bag at the mountaintop.

Next, let’s say something that really hits.

Trump’s exact words were: “We are having very in-depth negotiations with Iran. If we don’t reach an agreement, we will return to very strong military action.”

“There isn’t much time. Either we make rapid progress, or it will be a complete failure.”

Translated: If it gets done, the good news is already exhausted. If talks break down, oil prices violently rebound.

And what about Iran? They deny any direct negotiations with the U.S.

Oil tanker transport through the Strait of Hormuz hasn’t restored normal operations to this day.

This “ceasefire” is as fragile as a single A4 sheet.

A 75% ceasefire probability is already Price In. The remaining 25% probability of a negotiation breakdown—that’s the real pricing variable.

Once negotiations hit any turbulence—oil prices can violently rebound from $82 to $87–$89, a gain of 7%+.

Oil rebounds 7% → inflation expectations rekindle → probability of Fed rate hikes jumps → the U.S. dollar strengthens → liquidity tightens → BTC is hit first.

Trading advice?

First, don’t chase longs at the 75% probability level. What you’re seeing is the tail end of “good news already priced in,” not the starting point.

Second, use this macro sentiment upsurge to cut positions. Others are greedy while the ceasefire happens—you cut. When others panic over a breakdown in the talks—you speak.

Third, if you absolutely must hold, buy short-term put options to hedge the spot. This week’s FOMC, the ceasefire talks, and Trump’s remarks that could reverse at any moment—any single thing can make the market turn around instantly.

When everyone believes “ceasefire = good news,” the real risk has never been in the ceasefire itself—

It’s in the fact that everyone believes it. #直通IPO第二期JerseyMikes #长鑫今日上市成交901亿 #夏日创作营 $BTC $BZ $CL

#OpenAI Yesterday released a study on how people use AI for work. After reading it, the most striking part to me isn’t “whether AI will replace jobs,” but the fact that many people have already started sneaking into work that crosses roles.
The study’s sample comes from more than 800k job-related messages from US users, and 16.8% of them involve cross-occupation tasks; after removing general work like writing and summarizing, 43.5% of occupation-related messages are actually doing things that other roles would normally handle. Customer support starts getting involved in data analysis, sales checks customer data themselves, and marketing conveniently troubleshoots website issues on the side. In the past, it wasn’t that people didn’t want to do many things—it was that their skills were stuck; they had to find someone, wait in line, and join meetings. Now you hand it to AI to try first, and many things that were beyond an individual’s capabilities can still be pulled off.
This shift is even more obvious in small teams: in 2–5 person workspaces, cross-occupation tasks account for 18.9%, while in workspaces with 100 people or more it’s 16.3%. Small companies were already short on headcount; when AI shows up, the first thing that happens isn’t firing anyone—it’s that one person starts covering two or three roles.
I’ve personally felt this very strongly lately. In the past, a lot of automation, scripts, and tools—things I wanted to do but couldn’t write—could only stay as ideas. Now my Codex and Claude quotas aren’t enough just for everyday use: in the daytime I study work workflows, and at night I keep tinkering with automation, to the point where I almost want to treat one person as eighty donkeys. It’s an exaggeration, sure, but productivity really has been pushed to a new height.
When I trade, I’ve never liked focusing only on big phrases like “will the job disappear.” The market often reacts to more granular things first: can one person take on an extra half role, and can a team still charge in the same way as before? The upside is efficiency goes up, but the downside is also very real—boundaries blur, and a boss may simply assume you can do anything.
So my thought is simple: first, treat AI as a plug-in, and make the kinds of tasks I can take on as wide as possible. As for whether I’ll be replaced, I’ll say what I said before—capital is always about cost-effectiveness!

$0.06 ZAMA — are you betting on the future of the FHE leader, or the market maker’s scythe?

First, look at the surface: high-level consolidation, divergence between bulls and bears.

From the February low of 0.0167, it ran all the way to 0.064 — a gain of nearly 300%. On July 24, the Confidential RFQ went live; the price jumped that day, but then it surged and faded, and is now repeatedly churning around 0.06. Weekly +46%, monthly +80%, 3-month +110% — the most ferocious kid in the FHE track, without a close second.

But on August 2, 27.95 million tokens unlock, worth $15.11 million. Perpetual contract OI keeps falling, and the funding rate flips from negative to positive — the market is starting to crowd up on longs.

First thing: Confidential RFQ — it might be bigger than you think.

On July 24, Zama officially launched Confidential RFQ, a confidential inquiry protocol based on fully homomorphic encryption. On-chain large transfers finally got a “dark pool.”

Now, with sealed bidding, the transaction size, buy/sell direction, and asset types are all encrypted — before the counterparty submits a quote, nothing can be seen.

Second thing: tokenomics — both the ace and the soft underbelly.

ZAMA’s mechanism is pretty seductive: 100% of fees are burned, while operators rely on issuance rewards. Circulating supply is 2.2B, total supply is 11B, and the circulating ratio is only 20% — FDV is 5 times the market cap.

The upside: as long as more people use the network, the burn speed can stay fast enough for the deflationary model to work. Currently, 34% of the circulating supply is already staked, suggesting holders are willing to lock up.

The downside: on August 2, 27.95 million tokens unlock, worth $15.11 million. Even though it’s just a bit over 1% of total circulating supply, at these highs, any sell pressure could trigger a stampede.

Third thing: a technical signal you must watch closely appears.

Price is rising, but capital in the derivatives market is pulling back. This isn’t a trend-reversal signal — it’s de-leveraging in a phase. Worse, the funding rate has turned from negative to positive: longs start paying shorts, and the market gets crowded.

On the daily chart, 0.064 is the ATH (all-time high) — it hasn’t been broken through even after three attempts.

Bulls vs. bears — you decide.

One side says:

Confidential RFQ just launched, and the FHE leader narrative is hot

34% of circulating supply is already staked, and holders are hoarding

Weekly +46%, monthly +80% — the trend is clearly bullish

Privacy compute is a core narrative for 2026, and Zama is the “shovel seller” role

The other side says:

27.95 million tokens unlock on August 2, worth $15.11 million

OI keeps declining, funding rate turns positive, and longs crowd in

0.064 has failed three times — ATH pressure is huge

FDV is 5 times market cap, and dilution pressure is a long-term risk

Key levels

Resistance overhead: 0.062-0.064 (ATH) → 0.07-0.08 (sentiment extension)

Support below: 0.05-0.055 (recent pullback zone) → 0.045 (stronger psychological level)

For short-term traders:

Wait for a pullback to 0.05-0.055 to stabilize, then try a small long position with a tight stop at 0.048. First target: 0.062-0.064.

For swing traders:

Wait for a high-volume, valid breakout above 0.064 before chasing on the right side. Target: 0.07-0.08. If it breaks below 0.05 around August 2 with volume, exit unconditionally and stand aside.

For long-term gamblers:

DCA in batches below 0.05 — you’re betting on the long-term narrative that “FHE becomes standard in blockchains.” But remember: only use spare money; if it goes to zero, don’t cry.

ZAMA right now is like SOL in 2021 —

99% of people think, “yet another pump-and-dump asset,” and it went from 2 bucks to 200 bucks.

But at 0.06, is this the start of the next SOL — or just another “public offering breaks below issue price” pit?

The answer isn’t in the candlesticks; it’s in the order book around August 2. #直通IPO第二期JerseyMikes #夏日创作营 #Gate事件合约首发狂欢 $BTC $ETH $ZAMA

$4,090 gold—dare you chase it?

After the sudden ceasefire between the US and Iran over the weekend, oil prices plunged 5%, and gold gapped up by $40—but just moments ago, after gold surged to 4,116, it quickly pulled back, repeatedly testing 4,084. Is this wave just a sentiment rebound after geopolitical cooling, or the turning point after a solid confirmation of a $4,000 “iron floor”?

First, look at the surface: the ceasefire is here, but gold isn’t crashing.

Spot gold gapped up nearly $40 to 4,096, briefly spiking to 4,116, and is now hovering around 4,090. The weekly gain is 0.87%. After falling 27% from the January all-time high of 5,595, the 4,000 level simply won’t break. The candlesticks tell you: the gap up puts price above the Bollinger midline, MACD bearish histogram bars keep shrinking, and the KDJ three lines point upward—every technical indicator is effectively saying one thing: 4,000 is a solid floor, but above 4,100 it’s all trapped positioning.

First thing: the ceasefire is here—but you might have the direction wrong.

The US launched airstrikes on Iran for 13 consecutive nights after the US and Iran fought for more than five months, then suddenly paused on July 24. Iran responded with “as long as the US stops, we stop too.” Oil prices immediately dropped by more than 5%, with Brent retreating from near 100 to around 90.

Under the traditional script—geopolitical cooling = fading safe-haven demand = gold crashing.

But look at the chart—gold not only didn’t crash, it gapped up by $40, dragging straight from 4,053 to 4,116.

With the same kind of news, in 2022 gold could fall 5%, but today the market almost ignores it.

So what does that mean? Gold’s pricing power has shifted from “geopolitical safe-haven” to “interest-rate expectations.” Oil price plunges → inflation worries cool → Fed rate-hike expectations fall → real yields drop → cost of holding gold improves. That transmission chain is the real reason gold isn’t down today but is actually rising.

Retail traders are still stuck on the outdated logic of “ceasefire = negative.” Institutions are already positioning for “rate-cut expectations warming up.”

Second thing: oil fell, but gold’s enemy hasn’t left.

The US-Iran ceasefire is only a “tactical pause,” not a peace agreement. Iran still controls the key discourse power over the Strait of Hormuz, and the Houthis turned around and attacked Saudi oil facilities in the Red Sea again. Shipping volume remains low, and the supply-risk premium in the energy market hasn’t been fully removed.

The bigger issue is—this “big mountain” of the Fed still presses overhead.

The FOMC meeting on July 28-29 will not release the dot plot. With that, the market can only guess the direction from the statement and the chairman’s press conference. The baseline expectation is to keep rates unchanged (3.50%-3.75%), but the June meeting minutes showed that some committee members had already seen reasons to justify a rate hike. CME data showed the probability of a rate hike in July once climbed to nearly 40%, then fell to around 31.5% after oil pulled back.

What gold fears most now isn’t geopolitics—it’s one line:

If in the press conference Waller says “inflation is still too high; further tightening isn’t ruled out,” then 4,100 is the ceiling.

Third thing: a technical signal has appeared that must be taken seriously.

On the daily timeframe, after rebounding from 3,959, price has moved back above the Bollinger midline (4,072), showing that downside momentum has clearly weakened. MACD’s DIFF crossing above DEA, with the histogram value expanding to 32.64, indicates that short-term repair momentum is strengthening.

But don’t get too excited—DIFF is still below the zero axis, and the medium-term trend hasn’t fully shifted from weak to strong. 4,165-4,202 is the dense resistance zone overhead, while the 4,100 level has a large amount of trapped positions and profit-taking positions. With this combination, the setup is closer to a “rebound confirmation phase within a downtrend,” not confirmation of a full uptrend.

Long vs short—judge for yourself

One side says:

- The $4,000 level was probed three times and never effectively broke down—iron-floor confirmed
- Oil collapses → rate-hike expectations cool → real rates fall
- Global central banks keep buying gold, and China has continuously increased holdings for 20 months
- Gold ETFs end sustained outflows, with net inflows appearing in July
- Options market bullish/bearish ratio rises to 264:100, and speculative long positions hit the highest since January

The other side says:

- The Fed is still in a high-rate environment (3.50-3.75%)
- June minutes show some members supported a rate hike; Waller is more hawkish
- The daily chart is still suppressed by the 50-day moving average (around 4,220)
- 4,100-4,165 is a dense trapped zone, with very high breakout difficulty
- If the ceasefire keeps getting repeated, the safe-haven premium may shrink again
- Key level: 4,090 is only 90 bucks away from the life-or-death line at 4,000

Overhead resistance: 4,116 (today’s high) → 4,165-4,202 (strong resistance) → 4,220 (50-day moving average)

Support below: 4,084-4,070 → 4,040-4,053 → 4,000 (iron floor) → 3,960-3,950

Trading strategy (no fluff)

For short-term traders:

Try long with a light position around 4,070-4,085, stop loss below 4,040. First target 4,115-4,130—take half off first. If there’s a breakout above 4,130 with volume, you can chase longs to watch 4,165-4,200. Don’t chase at 4,090—if you chase in here and it retraces back to 4,070, you won’t be able to hold.

For more steady players:

Wait for the FOMC outcome. Results come out at 2:00 a.m. Beijing time on July 30. If the statement is dovish, wait for a pullback near 4,070 to go long; if it’s hawkish, wait for a dump to 4,000-4,040 to bottom-fish. Don’t bet the direction—just wait for the result.

For long-term allocators:

Set up staged buys under 4,000. WGC sets the gold price baseline scenario for the second half at 4,100 ± 5% (equivalent to 3,895-4,305), and UBS’s target price for 2027 is 5,200. Global central bank gold purchases + weakening dollar credit + geopolitical uncertainty means the long-term logic hasn’t broken. But remember—don’t add before the FOMC; wait for the boot to drop.

Gold right now is like its 2023 self—

With $4,000 stuck in a range, 99% of people think “it can’t go up anymore.” Then once the central bank makes a move, it gets pushed straight up to 5,595.

When the FOMC lands, you’ll realize:

It wasn’t that gold was bad—it's that you cut loss every time right before key resistance levels. #直通IPO第二期JerseyMikes #夏日创作营 #Gate事件合约首发狂欢 $BTC $XAU $XAUT

113.5 USD SPCX—are you going to buy the dip on the “Space Dream”?

IPO surged to 135, then within a month it got cut in half to 110. Starship’s test flight was successful, yet it couldn’t lift the stock even by 1 point. With the first earnings report + a lock-up worth trillions about to deal a double blow— is this the golden pit of the “space version of Tesla,” or yet another meat grinder where “good news is already exhausted”?

First, take a look at the surface: deeply oversold, declining volume, ignored by nobody.

ATH 225 fell to 110.85, exactly a 50% retracement. Over the past 5 days it’s down 9.7%, and over 1 month it’s down 25%. The price is far below all moving averages (SMA5≈118, SMA10≈126, SMA20≈141). The candlesticks tell you: the downtrend channel is still intact. RSI rebounded from 29 oversold to the neutral zone of 40–50. MACD is still negative, and all technical indicators are basically saying one thing: either a violent rebound, or continued slow bleeding—no middle option.

First thing: Starship succeeded, but the stock price fell.

On July 24, Starship Flight 13 successfully deployed 20 Starlink satellites, with a controlled splashdown— a milestone in spaceflight history. So, shouldn’t it go up?

The result? The stock didn’t even make a splash.

Why? Because the market has already started trading the Q2 earnings and the release from lock-ups. “Good news is already priced in” + a supply bomb—who would dare to catch a falling knife? What retail investors see is “the rocket succeeded,” while smart money sees “the August 6 unlock of 20% of the float.”

With the same news: if it were on IPO day, it could have rallied 30%; now it can’t even manage a 1% move. It’s not that SpaceX isn’t good—it's that the chip supply structure is just too bad.

Second thing: the release from lock-ups is the biggest “enemy.”

After-hours on August 4 for the first earnings report, about 20% of shares held by early holders become tradable and are unlocked on August 6 (about 60 million shares). Then, from August to October, each tranche continues to release about 7%.

If you don’t get it, it’s fine—I’ll translate it into plain human language:

The float is already small, and suddenly you get an extra 20% sell order supply

Early employee costs may have been just a few dollars, with unrealized gains in the dozens of times

If they don’t sell, are they supposed to hold until next year?

You think you’re buying the dip on “the first space stock,” but actually you’re catching the unlock supply from early employees. Someone calculated that in the next 2–3 months, about 60% of the float may be released—if supply doubles, why wouldn’t the price fall? That would be nothing short of a miracle.

Third thing: the fundamentals are still hardcore, but in the short term you don’t look at fundamentals.

Is SpaceX’s fundamentals bad? Annual revenue is 18.67 billion USD. Starlink users keep growing, and there’s also the AI integration narrative, including a partnership with Google on compute. Analysts’ average target price is 240 USD, implying implied upside of a doubling.

But tell me— which fundamental factor can withstand a “doubling of the float”?

SPCX is a perpetual contract, not a spot stock. Institutions can long/short and “double-kill” at any time. The high beta (5.9) means when the broader market drops 1%, it drops 6%. And with the FOMC meeting coming up, “higher for longer” interest rates are poison for growth stocks.

Bulls vs. bears—see for yourself:

One side is:

From 225 down to 110—down 50%, oversold. There’s strong demand for a technical rebound

Starship success + Q2 earnings could beat expectations

Analyst target price of 240—long-term narrative unchanged

Perpetual longs: funding rate tends to be relatively low, shorts are crowded

The other side is:

Unlock on August 6 of 20% of the float—massive supply pressure

Downtrend channel intact; rebound on shrinking volume with nobody stepping in

Macro is hawkish; funds de-risk before the FOMC

Earnings could be loss-making; if it misses expectations, it could smash through 110 straight away

Key level is 113.5, only 2.65 USD away from the ATL at 110.85.

Resistance overhead: 115–118 → 120–125 → 135 (IPO price)

Support below: 110.85 (ATL) → 109 → 100 (psychological level)

Trading strategy (no useless talk)

For short-term traders (1–5 days):

Sell high and buy low in the 110.5–118 range. If it breaks below 111, you can take a light short, targeting 109–105, with a stop-loss at 114; if it rebounds into 116–118, take a light short, targeting 113–111, with a stop-loss at 120. Leverage ≤5–10x, and position size should not exceed 2% of total capital.

For swing traders (around earnings):

Trim exposure and observe before the August 4 earnings—don’t bet on direction. After earnings, if guidance is strong and the stock doesn’t break 110, you can wait until mid-August after the lock-up digestion is done, then buy the dip, targeting 150+. If it breaks 110 and does so with volume, keep shorting or wait around 100 and reassess.

For long-term gamblers:

Wait and do fixed-sum buys below 100 with eyes closed, betting on “SpaceX = the next Apple.” But remember—don’t go heavy during the lock-up period within three months; you can’t withstand a 30% swing.

SPCX right now is like Coinbase right after its IPO—

It fell from 420 to 180, and everyone thought “it’s finally fully dumped.” Then once the lock-up starts, it dropped again to 40. What happened later? Later it rallied back to 300.

After this 50% plunge, does it fall to 70 or rally back to 200?

The answer isn’t in the candlestick chart—it’s on August 6, the day of the unlock, who ends up catching the bag. #直通IPO第二期JerseyMikes #夏日创作营 #Gate事件合约首发狂欢 $BTC $SPCX $ETH
