After combing through 200 financial reports, I dug up these 10 top stocks most worth heavily weighting!
1. Advanced Micro Devices $AMD
Nvidia’s strongest alternative and challenger. Its latest earnings report shows that data center revenue more than doubled year over year, growing by over 100%, while AI chip orders are overflowing. Although the stock price has been volatile recently, EPS has rebounded explosively, making its valuation extremely attractive. It is a highly elastic speculative play.
2. JPMorgan Chase $JPM
Don’t want to put all your eggs in the AI basket? JPMorgan is the best safe haven. Earnings rose 16% year over year, revenue increased 13%, and its P/E ratio is only 16x. Its fundamentals are extremely stable, and its value is far better than that of the broader market indexes. You can also sell long-dated puts and use the cash flow received to build a zero-cost position.
3. Micron Technology $MU
Don’t let traditional cyclical-stock thinking scare you away! AI inference consumes an enormous amount of memory today, so earnings absolutely will not fall off a cliff like they did in the past. Based on current earnings, its annualized P/E ratio is only 9.6x—absurdly cheap. Even if the stock price is volatile, aggressively sell long-dated puts—for example, with a $500 strike price—to maximize your margin of safety, then use the hefty option premium received to buy shares.
4. Meta $META
Meta today is like a compressed spring! Although spending billions to build data centers is weighing on near-term profits, its social ecosystem of billions of users, combined with AI, has enormous monetization potential. The stock is currently moving sideways in consolidation, making it suitable not only for selling puts to generate cash flow, but also for buying 2-year long-dated Call options to pursue outsized returns.
5. Broadcom $AVGO
The undisputed leader in custom AI chips and networking. Its moat is extremely deep, its pricing power is strong, and both profits and revenue are growing explosively. Its current forward P/E of 28x is not cheap, but it is absolutely worth the price. The best strategy is to sell 2-year puts to generate cash flow, then use that cash flow to buy shares directly.
6. TSMC $TSM
It monopolizes more than 90% of the world’s data center AI chip foundry business, while Samsung and Intel pose no meaningful threat whatsoever. Both revenue and earnings are soaring, yet its forward P/E is only 23x! As long as the AI wave continues, TSMC will be the safest “shovel seller.” Combining shares, Calls, and Puts is a strategy that simply cannot lose.
7. Amazon $AMZN
Its e-commerce business is exceptionally steady, while the massive capital expenditures on AWS cloud services and AI data centers are about to generate epic returns. Its current forward P/E of 28x is very reasonable, and earnings are highly likely to grow explosively over the next 1-2 years. Combining shares with the sale of long-dated puts makes it a must-have core holding.
8. Microsoft $MSFT
The tech giant with the most solid B2B AI monetization. Azure cloud is growing strongly, while deep integration of Copilot across its entire suite of office software generates an endless stream of cash flow. Its forward P/E has fallen back to around 25x, placing it in a historically low valuation range. It offers exceptional certainty and downside resilience, making it a core asset with both a margin of safety and AI growth momentum.
9. Google $GOOGL
Google Cloud is accelerating across the board, while the Gemini large language model is rapidly being monetized across billions of end users. Excluding the impact of unrealized gains on its investments on the books, its actual valuation is in the 20x range, offering exceptional value. Even Buffett has begun buying it. Its moat is extremely deep, and its long-term return is highly likely to outperform the S&P 500.
10. Nvidia $NVDA
The ultimate NO.1 recommendation! Its astonishing 75% gross margin proves its absolute, unmatched dominance, while chips remain in short supply. Its forward P/E is only 23x, and the pace of earnings growth far exceeds the stock’s gains. A reasonable valuation should be above $300. It is the core engine of the AI era—buy shares + buy Calls + sell Puts, and put it all into action.

A rare early video of Musk from 2008. At the time, both $TSLA and $SPCX were on the brink of collapse, and he was close to bankruptcy, even having to borrow money from friends to pay the rent.
1. The traditional Big Three automakers played dirty
Congress had originally allocated $25 billion to subsidize his new energy vehicles, but GM and Ford went to Washington to complain about being short on cash and actually snatched the money away to subsidize gasoline-powered cars.
2. Musk doesn’t exploit the poor
Tesla built ultra-luxury sports cars to fleece the wealthy. Every penny earned from selling high-priced sports cars was poured into affordable electric vehicles.
$TSLA does not pay dividends. Musk only has equity. The equity is valuable if the company succeeds; if it fails, the equity is worthless.
This was simply to make it clear to everyone: Tesla was not meant for investors to cash out in the short term, but to drive a long-term electric vehicle revolution!
3. If you don’t make expensive cars first, you’ll never be able to make affordable cars
At the time, many people criticized him: What does building sports cars for the wealthy have to do with environmental protection or ordinary people? It’s simply showing off wealth.
Musk explained: Just like early car phones, mobile phones, and laptops, when new technologies first emerge, their costs are extremely high and production volumes are very small.
This wasn’t a gimmick. It followed the inevitable path of technological products, gradually turning electric vehicles from toys for the wealthy into everyday transportation for ordinary people!

Can You Get Rich Even with Only a 20% Win Rate? 30 Trading Truths to Help Retail Traders Turn Things Around:
1. The most important rule in trading is to focus on defense, not offense.
2. Every day, I assume that all of my positions are wrong. I know exactly where my stop-loss levels are, so I can define my maximum drawdown.
3. I am always thinking about how to avoid losing money, not how to make money. Don’t focus your attention on making money; concentrate on protecting the capital you already have.
4. When it comes down to it, the most important thing is this: How strong is your risk-management ability? For any great trader, 90% of success comes from risk management.
5. Once a planned loss occurs, I never delay, fantasize, or add to the position to average down. I exit immediately. If a position is profitable, I continue to hold it. Risk management is the most important thing in trading.
6. If a losing position has already made you feel uneasy, the solution is actually very simple: exit immediately. You can always reenter later.
7. With a 5:1 risk-to-reward ratio, even if I were a complete fool and made mistakes 80% of the time, I still wouldn’t lose money.
8. I look for a 5:1 risk-to-reward ratio. Five to one means risking $1 to make $5. The advantage of 5:1 is that it allows you to remain profitable with only a 20% win rate. Even if you are wrong most of the time, as long as each winning trade makes five times as much as each losing trade, you will still make money over the long term.
9. Whenever I have a string of losing trades, I keep reducing my position size. When I’m not trading well, I continue to reduce my position size.
10. Never add to a losing position. When your trading is going poorly, reduce your position size; when your trading is going well, increase it.
11. Losses only breed more losses.
12. Never trade when you are not in control of the situation. For example, I won’t take on significant risk before major data releases, because that isn’t trading—it’s gambling.
13. I want to make sure that my losses never reach 10% or more in any month.
14. Don’t become a day trader with an inflated ego. Always question your abilities. Never think you’re very good. The moment you do, you’re finished.
15. Never try to prove yourself to the market, and never overtrade.
16. I am more afraid now than at any other point since I started trading, because I know how fleeting success can be in this industry. To remain successful, I must stay afraid.
17. I believe one of my strengths is that I regard everything that has happened up to the present as history. I don’t care at all about a mistake I made in the market three seconds ago; I only care about what I should do from the next moment onward.
18. Trading is an extremely competitive profession, and you must be able to withstand being knocked down hard by the market.
19. Why bet everything on a single trade? Why not make life a journey in pursuit of happiness rather than one of suffering?
20. Everything I do each day is aimed at keeping myself as happy and relaxed as possible.
21. I believe that the most money is often made at market turning points.
22. Capital, emotions, and the actions of major players are reflected in price first, while the fundamental reasons truly supporting the move gradually emerge later. Don’t wait until the fundamentals are completely clear before taking action; by then, there is often little profit potential left.
23. My benchmark for everything is the 200-day moving average of the closing price. The entire secret to investing comes down to one question: How can I avoid losing everything?
24. You should always trade in the direction of the current dominant trend.
25. The market is in a trending state only about 15% of the time; the rest of the time, it is basically moving sideways in a range.
26. When you see the range expanding significantly, the market is sending you a very loud, very clear signal: the move is about to break out in the direction of the expansion.
27. From a trading perspective, the secret to success is an insatiable, tireless, and inexhaustible desire for information and knowledge.
28. You always learn more from losses than from profits.
29. Intellectual capital will always outperform financial capital.
30. Adapt, evolve, and compete—or be eliminated.

The deepest discount in 10 years, even “cheaper” than the 2022 bear-market bottom—will history repeat itself?

You open your account and look at $63k Bitcoin.

There is only one question on your mind: Is this the bottom, or are we only halfway down?

On August 15, CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. dropped a bombshell—Bitcoin’s volatility-adjusted Z-Score had fallen to -2.293.

A new low since 2016.

The Rainbow Chart shows: “Basically a fire-sale price.”

What does that mean?

The Z-Score measures how far the current price deviates from its historical trend—in units of “standard deviations.”

At -2.293, Bitcoin is more than two standard deviations below its long-term price trajectory of the past 10 years.

Even lower than the -1.979 at the 2022 bear-market bottom.

In November 2022, FTX collapsed and Bitcoin fell to $16k, leaving the market in despair—the Z-Score was -1.979 at the time.

Now the market hasn’t collapsed, no major institution has imploded, and ETFs are still operating—yet the Z-Score is even lower than it was then.

Let’s review history.

What happened after the Z-Score fell to a similar low in 2016? The post-halving bull market began, and Bitcoin rose from a few hundred dollars to $20k.

What happened after the Z-Score reached -1.979 at the 2022 bottom? The market rebounded throughout 2023, rising from $16k all the way to over $70k in 2024.

Historical data shows that every time the Z-Score reaches such an extremely undervalued range, a major rally follows.

But this time really is different.

First, institutional participation is completely different.

This is the ETF era. BlackRock and Fidelity dominate the Bitcoin ETF market, with the two companies accounting for the vast majority of new inflows. Institutions can buy, but they can also sell.

On August 15, the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF saw $58.8 million in outflows, while Fidelity’s FBTC saw $55.1 million in outflows.

In an institution-dominated market, the bottom will not be as “clean” as before.

Second, the macro environment is completely different.

At the end of 2022, the Federal Reserve began turning dovish, and expectations of rate cuts throughout 2023 drove risk assets sharply higher.

Now, high interest rates are persisting. Oil prices have just broken above 100, and a rebound in July CPI is a certainty. Bitcoin has fallen from approximately $88.8k at the beginning of the year to $63.1k, a year-to-date decline of about 29%.

Third, the market structure is completely different.

Previously, retail investors dominated—the bottom emerged when retail investors panic-sold at a loss. Now institutions dominate—they have risk controls, stop-loss levels, and quarterly rebalancing.

Institutional bottoms are often not V-shaped reversals, but L-shaped bottoming processes.

So the core question is—

Is a Z-Score that is “cheaper” than the 2022 bottom an opportunity or a trap?

Optimists say: Every time it has reached this level in the past, it has marked a golden opportunity.

Pessimists say: This time is different; the macro environment and market structure have both changed.

What do I think?

History will not simply repeat itself—but historical data is the only coordinate system we can refer to.

The Z-Score tells you that, statistically, Bitcoin is now “cheaper” than at any other time in the past 10 years.

But “cheap” does not mean “about to rise.”

Extremely low valuations point to a potentially attractive range, but a market reversal still requires separate confirmation.

The rest is up to everyone’s conviction and position size.

I choose to place orders in batches at this level.

I’m not betting on the absolute bottom—I’m betting on a simple probability: the deepest discount in 10 years has never been given away for nothing in history.#GateLaunchpool瓜分141万枚DOS #比特币变盘信号出现 #我的七夕交易分享 $BTC $ETH $GT

$1.1 billion came in, but BTC didn't rise; $330 million went out, but BTC didn't fall—have ETF flows "stopped working"?

From August 3 to 7, U.S. spot BTC and ETH ETFs saw combined net inflows of approximately $1.1 billion.

Bitcoin ETFs accounted for $865 million of that.

And then?

Bitcoin's price barely budged. It kept churning within the $62,000–$65,000 range.

It gets even more surreal.

From August 10 to 14, Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of approximately $329 million.

By "common sense," the price should have crashed, right?

Bitcoin still didn't fall. During the same period, BTC's UTC closing price declined by only about 0.8%.

$1.1 billion came in without a rise, and $330 million went out without a fall.

When did ETF flows start to "stop working"?

Why didn't Bitcoin rise after $1.1 billion came in?

Because whenever someone buys, someone else sells.

Selling pressure from holders looking to break even around the on-chain cost-basis cluster near $66,000 offset ETF buying.

Simply put, while ETFs were accumulating, early holders were distributing.

The $1.1 billion that came in was entirely absorbed by break-even sellers. The price didn't move, but the coins changed hands.

Why didn't Bitcoin fall after $330 million went out?

The answer: derivatives supported the market.

On August 14, open interest in Bitcoin futures surged by $1.2 billion within eight hours.

Open interest rose to approximately 765,820 BTC, with a notional value of about $49.2 billion. Funding rates remained positive, indicating that leveraged longs continued to add to their positions.

ETFs were selling, but leveraged longs were buying (or, in other words, shorts were closing).

The price was "welded" in place by derivatives.

Got it?

Bitcoin's pricing power has now shifted from "ETF flows" to the "leveraged battle in derivatives."

Before: ETF inflows → BTC rises. ETF outflows → BTC falls.

Now: ETF inflows, break-even sellers dump. ETF outflows, leverage holds the line.

But prices supported by leverage are never stable.

On August 13, BTC ETFs saw $131 million in net outflows in a single day. On August 14, another $56 million flowed out. Combined outflows over the two days totaled approximately $192 million.

Bitcoin fell below $63,000, touching its lowest point since August 3.

Leverage can hold the line for a while, but not forever.

If ETF outflows continue, the leveraged long positions that have accumulated could turn into fuel for liquidations at any moment. If spot buying recovers, the newly added leveraged positions will amplify the rebound

BTC is now a time bomb propped up by leverage. Whether it explodes upward or downward depends on whether spot capital can absorb the pressure

August 14, Trump: “After completely defeating Iran, the Strait of Hormuz will be US territory.”

August 15, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei: Despite US obstruction, Iran and Oman have reached an agreement on a shipping-route passage plan. The new route closes the existing north-south routes, with commercial vessels rerouting part of their journeys through Iranian territorial waters. It is temporary in nature and is expected to last 2 to 4 months.

August 15, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Gharibabadi: “The Strait of Hormuz cannot be seized with a single tweet, one aircraft carrier, one order, or one speech.”

August 15, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi: “The US has violated the memorandum of understanding. The war has resumed, and there is no such thing as an ‘extension of the ceasefire agreement.’”

August 17 (Monday): The 60-day ceasefire agreement officially expires.

Trump says, “I’m going to take the strait,” while Iran says, “I already control the strait.” Both are talking tough, but the market cannot price it this weekend.

Because crude oil futures markets are closed on weekends.

All the risks are piling up for Monday’s opening.

When crude oil opens on Monday morning, there are only two scenarios.

Scenario A: Oil prices gap sharply higher

The market interprets the Iran-Oman agreement as “Iran unilaterally controlling the strait”—the new route passes through Iranian territorial waters, effectively putting the key to the strait in Iran’s hands. Combined with the ceasefire agreement expiring Monday and the possibility of war resuming, Brent, which already closed Friday at $88.52, could gap sharply higher at Monday’s open and surge past $90.

Scenario B: Oil prices fluctuate violently

The agreement includes a “60 days of free passage” arrangement, which some funds may interpret as a short-term easing signal. But Iran’s foreign minister also said that “it has not yet decided whether to resume negotiations with the US”—so much for easing.

Bulls and bears will engage in an intense battle Monday morning. Whether it is A or B, volatility will definitely be enormous.

What about BTC?

Oil prices surge → inflation expectations rise → rate-hike expectations strengthen → non-yielding assets come under pressure (bearish)

But extreme geopolitical risk → a crisis of confidence in fiat currencies → some funds seek “digital gold” as a safe haven (bullish)

The two forces are pulling in opposite directions.

On August 15 and 16, BTC traded in a narrow range around $63,000—the market is waiting for Monday’s crude oil market to provide direction.

Gold has already broken above $4,400. What about BTC? It is still playing dead at $63,000.

Will you chase MU at $975?

Look at the surface first: a violent 30% rebound, but the previous high is like a mountain.

The June earnings report was explosive: revenue reached $41.4 billion, surging 3x year-on-year, gross margin approached 85%, and HBM capacity is sold out through 2027. The stock plunged 41% from its high of 1255 to 738, then violently rebounded to 975. But after New Street raised its rating, the market actually hesitated—the 985-1012 zone has already hit a wall three times.

**First: institutions are bullish, but major short sellers are watching too.**

New Street Research upgraded its rating to “Buy,” with a price target of $1,250, arguing that AI is making memory demand “less cyclical.” Analysts are broadly bullish, with some price targets already reaching 1500-2000.

But on the other side, Michael Burry—the man who became famous by shorting subprime mortgages in 2008—still holds a short position.

**Second: the earnings report was absurdly strong, but the market has grown numb to it.**

Q3 revenue reached $41.46 billion, surging 3x year-on-year. Q4 revenue guidance is approximately $50 billion. The company has secured multiyear contracts, is expanding its US production capacity, and HBM3E/HBM4 are completely sold out, with order visibility extending into 2027-2028.

But the stock fell from 1255 to 738, and the market said: “Oh, got it.” Why? Because AI semiconductors have already been priced in countless times. The question now is not “is there demand?” but “can the valuation go even higher?”

The same news drove a 20% gain six months ago, but only a 2% gain now. This is what diminishing impact from positive catalysts looks like.

**Third: the technical picture has produced a signal that must be taken seriously.**

From 738 to 975, the stock gained more than 30%, moved above the 50-day moving average (approximately 934-960), RSI is neutral-to-strong at 56-60, MACD is nearing a golden cross, and volume is healthy.

But 85-1012 marks the four-week high, and the stock has failed to break through this zone three times. Each time it reaches around 1000, it gets sold back down, forming a dense supply zone.

**You can judge the bull-bear battle yourself**

On one side:

HBM3E/HBM4 capacity is sold out, with orders booked through 2027

$41.4 billion in revenue, surging 3x year-on-year, an 85% gross margin, and strong free cash flow

The only major memory manufacturer headquartered in the US, with an added boost from the geopolitical security narrative

A violent 30% rebound from 738, moving above the 50-day moving average

On the other side:

The previous high was 1255, and the market cap is $1.1 trillion—how much further can it rise?

Short sellers such as Michael Burry are lying in wait

The AI narrative is already beginning to lose its impact, with positive catalysts being met with growing indifference

Three rejections at 985-1012, with heavy selling pressure

**Key levels**

Resistance above: 985-1012 → 1050-1100 → 1255 (previous high)

Support below: 950-956 → 889-900 → 844 → 738

**Trading strategy**

**Short-term traders:**

Open small long positions in batches around 975 or on a pullback to 950-960, targeting 1010-1050, with a stop-loss at 930. Add on a volume-backed breakout above 1012 and look for 1100+.

**Swing traders:**

Wait for a pullback to 900-930 before adding, targeting 1200+, with a stop-loss below 800.

**Long-term believers:**

AI memory demand is not hype; it is a genuine structural change. HBM remains in short supply through 2027, while US capacity expansion and long-term contracts provide visibility. The fundamentals are solid.

MU now looks like NVIDIA in 2023—

Everyone worried that it had “peaked,” yet every pullback turned out to be an opportunity to get on board. But everyone says “it’s different,” and every time the outcome is the same.

The difference is: no one believed in NVIDIA back then, while too many people believe in MU now.

That is the biggest risk.

ETH at $1880, and you're still waiting for $700?

Look at the surface first: down 58% in one year, falling from 5000 to 1880—it really is brutal.

Over the past 24 hours, it has barely moved. Weekend trading volume is sluggish, with the price repeatedly churning between 1860 and 1930. BTC is lying flat around 63000, the Fear and Greed Index is at 34, and the market is in “fear territory.” The candlesticks tell you this: around 1870, buying support has appeared multiple times; the MACD bearish histogram is contracting; RSI is in the neutral 45-50 range, at the end of a convergence, with a major move imminent.

First: Ethereum is doing something “big,” but nobody cares.

The core developers did something—they abandoned the Poseidon hash used for eight years and shifted to the more mature SHA/BLAKE framework.

It’s okay if you don’t understand. In plain English: Ethereum is laying the groundwork for the “post-quantum era” while significantly improving L1 efficiency. This is an “engine replacement” at the underlying architectural level—not to chase hype, but to go farther.

Second: ETFs now offer staking yield, something BTC cannot provide.

Institutions including BlackRock have launched ETH ETF products with staking yield, with net yields of around 2%. Doesn’t sound high? But for institutions, this is risk-free yield enhancement at the “fixed income plus” level.

The logic for traditional capital entering has changed:

Buy a BTC ETF: pure beta, rising and falling with the broader market

Buy an ETH ETF: beta + 2% staking yield + the RWA settlement-layer narrative

Banks and major asset managers are already using Ethereum for stablecoins and asset tokenization. Ethereum accounts for over 50% of the RWA market, making it the absolute leader.

Third: But there is one data point you must see.

The staking rate is around 32-33%, with 39 million ETH locked. Active addresses, transaction volume, and stablecoin settlement volume are all setting period highs.

New high in usage + new low in price = what?

A classic “value divergence.” This appeared during ETH’s rise from 200 to 400 in 2020, and also during Bitcoin’s rise from 16000 to 25000 in 2023.

The bull-bear battle—judge for yourself

On one side:

Major underlying technology upgrade (Poseidon→SHA/BLAKE), post-quantum preparation

Staking-yield ETF launch, opening the institutional “fixed income plus” logic

Over 50% share of the RWA market, bank-level adoption

32% staking rate, 39 million ETH locked

Active addresses and settlement volume setting records

On the other side:

Down 37% YTD and 58% in one year, with extremely bearish sentiment

Low weekend liquidity and high wick risk

If BTC breaks below 62500, ETH may follow it lower

Lack of strong catalysts, with no momentum for a sharp short-term rally

Key levels

Upside resistance: 1900-1915 → 1920-1930 (key breakout zone) → 1950-1960 → 2000+

Downside support: 1870-1860 → 1850 → 1800-1820

Trading strategy

Short-term traders:

Accumulate in batches at 1860-1870, set a stop-loss below 1850, and target 1910-1930. Add to the position if it moves above 1900 and holds after a retest.

Swing traders:

Wait for a high-volume break and hold above 1930 before entering on the right side, with targets of 2000-2100-2300. If 1860 breaks on high volume, stay on the sidelines first.

Long-term believers:

Dollar-cost average in batches at 1850-1880. Stake for yield and ignore short-term volatility. The year-end target is 2300-2500, betting on macro conditions improving + the staking-ETF narrative exploding.

ETH now looks like its 2020 self—

The entire market mocked it as “too slow, too expensive, and hopeless,” but when DeFi Summer arrived, it surged directly from 200 to 4000.

The people criticizing ETH are the same people who criticized BTC in 2019.

The people who missed the rally are the same people who were devastated in 2020.

With ETH at 1880, you're waiting for 700, while institutions are waiting for 7000.

The $ETH / $BTC chart is giving me two completely different vibes
ETH bull case👇
• 0.0310
• 0.0330
• $ETH keeps outperforming $BTC
Degen trap👇
• “ #ETHEREUM IS BACK”
• everyone apes $ETH
• then ETH/BTC reverses

• $BTC takes back the strength
This is exactly the kind of chart where the first move gets everyone positioned for the wrong second move

$ATS is looking pretty interesting right here at these levels. The chart is forming a nice base, and the price seems ready to push higher soon.
The recent wallet drop shows the team is actually delivering, and the ecosystem is growing fast.
Looking at these next levels:
$0.16 → $0.22 → $0.30
Lots of potential ahead with this structure, so I’m tracking it very closely.

Gold at $4,380—are you still waiting for a pullback?

Look at the surface first: rate-hike expectations collapsed, and gold came alive.

July CPI cooled to 3.4%, PPI came in below expectations, and the market directly cut the probability of a September rate hike from 50% to 30%. The dollar fell, and gold quickly rebounded from 4,300 to 4,380. It rose 8% in one month.

After a halving-style pullback from the 5,600 high at the beginning of the year to 4,000, how many people cursed that “gold is finished”? What happened? It bottomed between 4,000 and 4,200 in June and July, then quietly began climbing back in August.

First: central banks are buying. What are you afraid of?

The People’s Bank of China bought 20 tons of gold in July, its largest single-month increase in nearly three years. It has been buying every month for 21 consecutive months. Official holdings have reached 2,366 tons.

Global central banks made net purchases of 289 tons in Q2—the highest quarterly record in history.

Second: while you were criticizing gold for “not rising,” it had just gained 8%.

Gold rose 8% in one month, from 4,000 to 4,380. You may not think much of that in crypto circles, but what is behind it?

COMEX futures are dominated by long positions

ETF funds are beginning to flow back in

Physical gold supply is relatively tight, while investment demand is strong

Look further down: central-bank buying, geopolitical risks, falling real rates from elevated levels, and a weaker dollar—four engines are igniting at the same time, and you’re only staring at the K-line and complaining?

Third: but there is one risk you must know.

If inflation data rebounds next week, or employment data exceeds expectations, gold could instantly pull back to 4,300 or even 4,250.

Gold’s opponent is not the bears—it is real rates. As long as Treasury yields remain high, gold will always be held down. This is not a fundamentals problem; it is a pricing-power problem.

Fed rate cuts are only a matter of time. The market has already priced in no rate hike in September. Once rate-cut expectations open up, gold will be the first asset to take off, even faster than BTC.

Bulls vs. bears—you decide

On one side:

July CPI cooled, with the rate-hike probability falling from 50% to 30%

The Chinese central bank has made net purchases for 21 consecutive months, while Q2 central-bank buying set a quarterly record

The dollar weakened, and real rates fell from elevated levels

The 4,000–4,200 base is complete, with an 8% rebound in August

The MACD has just formed a golden cross, RSI is neutrally bullish, and the uptrend line remains intact

On the other side:

The trapped positions from the 5,600 high at the beginning of the year need time to be absorbed

If inflation rebounds or employment exceeds expectations, a pullback to 4,300–4,250 is possible

Low weekend liquidity makes wick spikes likely

Gold is an asset priced by real rates—if rates do not fall, the ceiling remains

Key levels

Upside resistance: 4,400–4,420 → 4,450–4,460 → 4,500

Downside support: 4,340–4,350 → 4,300–4,320 → 4,250

Trading strategy

Short-term traders:

Go long with a small position around 4,380 or on a pullback to 4,350–4,370, targeting 4,420–4,450, with a stop-loss below 4,320. Add to the position if 4,400 holds, targeting 4,460+.

Swing traders:

If 4,300 holds and 4,400 breaks, hold for 4,500–4,600. Set the stop-loss at 4,250.

Long-term believers:

Dollar-cost average in batches below 4,300. Choose whichever suits you: gold ETFs, physical gold bars, or XAU perpetuals. The target is not 5,600, but a new all-time high plus the central-bank dedollarization narrative.

Gold’s current position is like BTC in 2024—

Everyone was saying “it can’t go any higher,” and then it doubled outright after the ETF was approved.

Central banks’ balance sheets do not lie.

Gold at 4,380 is 20% cheaper than at 5,600, but 10% more expensive than at 4,000.

The question is—at what level are you willing to get in?

What is your gold cost basis?
