Would you still dare to buy ZEC at $1,155?
After plunging from 1,700 to 1,050, it’s been slammed online as a “privacy coin scam.” The NU7 upgrade is set to go live on November 5, yet the price is stuck around 1,155—neither up nor down. Is this the final shakeout before the upgrade, or a slaughterhouse for “buy the rumor, sell the fact”?
From October 20 to 22, ZEC surged to 1,360+. How many people were shouting, “NU7 is coming, let’s hit 1,400”? Then it plunged back to 1,140 in two days, down 5% in 24 hours, leaving those who chased the rally down 20%. Now it’s moving sideways around 1,155, with trading volume still in the hundreds of millions of dollars—the bulls and bears are both betting on who gets stuck holding the bag.
First: NU7 is a real upgrade, but the market may not care
NU7 is confirmed to activate on mainnet around November 5: block times will shrink from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, making transactions three times faster; about 60% of fees will go to the reserve or be burned, strengthening deflationary dynamics; the old Sprout pool will be phased out, and the Orchard privacy protocol will be enhanced.
But look at the chart—the price only popped 11-12% after the upgrade was confirmed, then fell all the way back. Why?
Because ZEC has already gained over 300% in the past year, and its market cap is back in the top 10. The good news has long been priced in.
Second: The fundamentals of privacy coins haven’t collapsed; what’s collapsed is the confidence of those who chased the rally
ZEC remains the leading privacy coin: zk-SNARKs offer optional full privacy, its hard cap is 21 million, about 17 million are in circulation, and block rewards stand at 1.5625 following the second halving. The shielded pool’s share of supply has recovered to 29%, supported by genuine demand for privacy. Grayscale-related products have seen intermittent inflows, while the Winklevoss-affiliated entities have ramped up mining and holdings.
The medium- and long-term narrative is intact.
But ZEC is up 300% for the year and has now pulled back about 30% from 1,600-1,700 to 1,155. For a privacy coin, this is just “business as usual.”
Third: The technical picture boils down to one thing—1,155 is the line in the sand
The daily and weekly charts remain within a major uptrend channel, making this a healthy correction after a big rally, not a trend reversal. But a lower-high pattern has formed in the short term, RSI is neutral to weak, and there’s room above the 50-day moving average. The price needs to hold above 1,200 to turn bullish again.
Support: 1,140-1,150 (recent lows + psychological level) → 1,100-1,120 (stronger) → 1,050 (previous low)
Resistance: 1,200-1,220 (former support turned resistance) → 1,250-1,280 → 1,300+
Holding 1,140 and rebounding on rising volume would offer a second entry opportunity; breaking below 1,100 on rising volume could send it to 1,050 or even lower.
The bulls and bears are at odds—take a look for yourself
On one side:
The NU7 upgrade goes live on November 5, bringing 25-second block times and deflationary mechanisms
Shielded pool supply is recovering, and privacy demand is real
Up 300%+ for the year, top-10 market cap, with institutions entering mining
The major uptrend channel remains intact
On the other:
High risk of “buy the rumor, sell the fact”; prices often fall around upgrades
Lower highs in the short term; failure to hold 1,200 signals weakness
High macro CPI and a wait-and-see Fed mean high-beta assets get hit first
Privacy coins face regulatory scrutiny, and exchange restrictions remain a risk
Trading strategy
Short term (1-3 days):
If 1,140-1,160 holds and a bullish candle forms on rising volume or there’s a bullish divergence, try a small long position, target 1,200-1,225, stop below 1,130.
If 1,140 breaks and the move is confirmed, try a small short position, target 1,100-1,120, stop above 1,165.
Swing trade (1-2 weeks):
First choice: scale into buys at the strong 1,100-1,150 support zone (spot or low-leverage perpetuals), with a stop below 1,050.
First target zone: 1,250-1,300; second: 1,400+ (if the upgrade goes smoothly and the broader market cooperates).
Add to long positions only after breaking through 1,250 and holding above it. Leverage ≤5-10x, risk 1-2% per trade.
ZEC now feels like ETH before its 2021 upgrade—
Everyone knew good news was coming, but nobody knew how deep the shakeout would be before it arrived.
NU7 won’t make you lose money; chasing the rally will.

SNDK at $1,240: Are you buying the dip or catching a falling knife?
Earnings are just 3 days away, and your finger is hovering over “Buy”—is this a chance to buy the dip in AI storage, or are you handing Wall Street your head?
Don’t rush to click.
Look at the chart: from the June high of 2354, it plunged all the way to 1240, a 47% drawdown. It’s down 30% in 30 days, 5% in 7 days, and still drifting lower over the past 24 hours.
Some people in the group are shouting “AI storage is a god forever,” while others are quietly posting liquidation screenshots.
First: AI’s gains are in data centers; yours are on liquidation notices
SanDisk is a top global NAND flash supplier. AI data centers need storage and computing, and NAND demand has exploded. Revenue surged 372% year over year last quarter, gross margin topped 70%, and data center revenue doubled quarter over quarter. TrendForce says NAND prices will rise again in 2026.
Are the fundamentals strong? Yes.
TTM P/E is just 17x, some forward estimates put it at 5–6x, and analysts’ median price target is 1800–2200, with the highest calling for 3000+.
But here’s the painful part—
The stronger the fundamentals, the wilder earnings night can be.
Earnings are due October 29. The company guided for revenue of $10.3–$10.8 billion, up 357% year over year, and EPS of 44–46. Expectations are already sky-high.
A beat could lead to a recovery to 1400–1600; a miss, or even slightly softer data center guidance, could send it down another 20–30%—I’m not trying to scare you.
Going into earnings with a big position and betting on direction isn’t investing; it’s paying market makers’ fees.
Second: A 47% drop doesn’t mean it’s cheap—the market is asking if you dare to catch a falling knife
At 1240, it’s right at strong support around 1200–1230—the 200-day moving average, a previous low, and the 30-day low of 1232.
Daily RSI is around 30, oversold, with potential for a bounce. MACD is bearish, but momentum is weakening.
Sounds like an opportunity?
But see it clearly: the daily and weekly charts have broken below the uptrend channel, forming lower highs. In the short term, this is an oversold condition within a downtrend, not a trend reversal.
Resistance above: 1280–1300, then 1350–1400, then 1500+.
Support below: 1200–1230. If it breaks, the next stop is 1100–1150.
Oversold can get more oversold, and support is there to be broken—until it actually holds.
Third: The macro is draining liquidity, and the AI bubble debate is heating up
CPI is around 3.7%, with inflation running hot. At the October 27–28 Fed meeting, a hawkish stance would keep pressure on high-valuation tech stocks.
AI financing costs are rising. Pressure on the free cash flow of big players like Meta is being highlighted, and the semiconductor sector is pulling back overall.
SNDK has locked-in contracts and a shortage-driven thesis, giving it relative resilience, but it has a high beta; when it falls, it won’t care about your fundamentals.
Bulls and bears face off—you decide
On one side:
Structurally surging NAND demand from AI data centers
Revenue up 372% year over year, gross margin above 70%, net cash
Long-term contracts lock in future revenue
Valuation isn’t expensive relative to growth, and most analysts rate it a Buy
Oversold RSI, strong support at 1200–1230
On the other:
Down 47% from ATH, with the trend still bearish
Expectations for earnings are extremely high; a miss means a double whammy
The Fed could be hawkish, putting pressure on the semiconductor sector
Poor after-hours liquidity in tokenized perpetuals makes sudden wicks more likely
The memory cycle hasn’t disappeared; a peak in ASPs would be a red flag
Trading strategy
Before earnings (1–5 days):
If you want to try going long around 1240, keep the position small, set a stop-loss at 1180–1200, target 1280–1320, and make sure to trim or exit before earnings.
If it breaks below 1200 on heavy volume, don’t add to your position; switch to short or stay on the sidelines, and watch for levels below 1150.
After earnings (1–4 weeks):
Prioritize a bullish outlook, but wait for confirmation.
If earnings beat expectations, data center guidance is strong, and gross margin holds, add after a confirmed reversal, targeting 1400–1600 or even higher.
If guidance is weak or the macro worsens, don’t catch it; wait for 1100–1150 or even lower.
Long term (quarterly):
The AI storage shortage thesis remains intact, and locked-in contracts plus strong cash flow provide a foundation.
But build a position on pullbacks in batches; don’t go all in at once. If you can’t handle the volatility, you won’t capture the gains from the AI supercycle.
SNDK right now is like Nvidia in 2022—
Everyone knows AI is the future, but the stock gets cut in half, then cut in half again, and only then rises back up.
Knowing you’re right about the direction doesn’t mean you can withstand that 47% in-between.

Bitcoin dominance is approaching a major decision point.
Above 61.5%: Bitcoin continues to lead, keeping pressure on altcoins.
Below 58%: Capital rotation into $ETH and altcoins could finally accelerate.
ETH has performed well over the past 4 months, but can that momentum continue?
The key is $BTC dominance. A sustained decline could open the door for a broader altcoin rally.
Watch these levels closely. The next move could define the market's direction.

ETH at $2,365—are you still holding on?
From 4,950 to 2,365, it’s been cut in half. Down 12% in 30 days, ETF outflows hit $1 billion in October, CPI surged to 3.7%, and the Fed is still hiking rates—but BitMine has quietly accumulated nearly 5% of the total supply, while staking has hit an all-time high. Is this the final drop before the bull market returns, or is the bear market just getting started?
First, the surface picture: bad news is piling up, and the price is teetering on a cliff.
The daily chart is ranging between 2,350 and 2,420, with an intraday low of 2,350 and a high of 2,418, forming lower highs. RSI is at 36–38, approaching oversold but not quite there. MACD shows a bearish alignment below the zero line. Price is below the 20- and 50-day moving averages (2,470–2,550), but still above the 200-day moving average (2,150). Bears have the short-term edge, but the medium- and long-term structure isn’t completely broken yet.
The question is—can you withstand another 30% correction?
First: ETFs are fleeing, but whales are accumulating. Who do you believe?
U.S. spot ETH ETFs saw cumulative outflows of about $1 billion in October, making it one of the worst months since 2026 began. Institutions are selling, and retail investors are panicking.
But on the other side, BitMine keeps accumulating, nearing 5% of the total supply. Total staked ETH stands at 43–44 million, or over 35% of the supply, an all-time high. JPM Coin is live on mainnet, and Citi raised its price target to 3,028.
ETF investors are fleeing, but the real big players are buying at the lows.
You’re caught in the middle: cut your losses or follow the smart money?
Retail investors make decisions based on ETF flows; whales position themselves based on supply and demand five years from now. That’s why you’re always one step behind.
Second: With staking yields at 2.6%, unable to beat Treasuries at 5%, what are you putting your faith in?
This is the most painful part.
ETH staking yields about 2.6% annually, compared with around 5% for U.S. Treasuries.
You lock up ETH, take on 50% volatility risk, and earn 2.6%.
You buy Treasuries, face zero volatility, and earn 5%.
Capital votes with its feet. That’s why ETFs are seeing outflows and why the price can’t get moving.
But think about it the other way—
When the Fed is forced to cut rates and Treasury yields fall below 3%, what will a 2.6% staking yield plus the prospect of price appreciation turn into?
A scramble to accumulate.
ETH today isn’t without value; its value is temporarily obscured by high interest rates. When the veil lifts, will you be on board or left behind?
Third: The technicals have reached a point where a decision must be made.
ETH has tested 2,350 multiple times.
Hold, and a double bottom may be taking shape, with a rebound toward 2,400–2,420 and a breakout pointing to 2,500–2,550.
Break below (especially if confirmed by a daily close), and the next stop is 2,320, followed by 2,200–2,250.
At the Fed meeting on October 27–28, rates are likely to remain unchanged, but expectations of a December hike are strong. The 10-year Treasury yield is near 5%.
Without a macro shift, ETH can only keep grinding around support.
But remember this:
The market always chooses a direction “when uncertainty is at its highest.” By the time everyone sees it clearly, the move is already over.
The bull-bear showdown—judge for yourself
On one side:
BitMine has accumulated nearly 5% of the total supply; whales are buying
Staked ETH at an all-time high, with over 35% of ETH locked up
The 200-day moving average at 2,150 is holding; the medium- and long-term structure remains intact
Citi price target of 3,028; JPM Coin live on mainnet
RSI is approaching oversold; a technical rebound could come at any time
On the other:
October ETF outflows of $1 billion; institutions are pulling out
CPI at 3.7%, above expectations; the Fed may hike rates again in December
Staking yields of 2.6% versus Treasuries at 5%; no reason for capital to flow in
Daily chart shows a bearish alignment; repeated failures to break above 2,400–2,420
Glamsterdam upgrade testing delayed
Key levels
Resistance above: 2,400–2,420 (make-or-break level) → 2,500 → 2,550 → 2,800–3,000
Support below: 2,350 (first line of defense) → 2,320–2,330 → 2,200–2,250
Trading strategies
Short-term traders:
Try a small long position near 2,350, with a stop-loss below 2,320. Take half off first at 2,400–2,420. If 2,350 breaks decisively (confirmed by a daily close), flip short, targeting 2,320 and then 2,200. Keep leverage below 3x and prioritize spot. Don’t go in heavy—betting on direction at this level is playing with your life.
Medium-term traders:
Wait for the Fed meeting on October 27–28. If rates hold and the tone is dovish, build a position above 2,400–2,500, targeting 2,800–3,000. If the Fed is more hawkish than expected, wait to buy in batches at 2,200–2,300.
Long-term believers:
Dollar-cost average in batches in the 2,300–2,200 range, adding every $100 drop. Keep your position at 20–30% of total capital and hold cash for a black swan. Low staking yields are temporary; once the rate-cut cycle begins, ETH’s upside could exceed your expectations.
ETH today is like BTC in June 2022—
LUNA collapsed, Three Arrows blew up, and everyone shouted, “Crypto is dead.”
And then?
It bottomed two months later and hit a new high a year later.
The cruelest thing about a bear market isn’t making you lose money; it’s making you hand over your coins at the bottom, then watch the price rise back up. #美股财报季 #GateWCTCS9全球交易赛 #美国消费者信心接近历史低点 $ETH $IRYS $BTC

U.S. earnings reports enter their busiest week in history next week. Here’s a watchlist:
Monday, October 26
1. Verizon $VZ
Analysts expect EPS of about $1.27 and revenue of about $34.77 billion. Traditional telecoms are having a tough time. Verizon was just blindsided by SpaceX on Friday: $SPCX SpaceX is negotiating access to 80,000 cell sites and wants to become the fourth-largest carrier in the U.S.
2. Cadence Design Systems $CDNS
Expected EPS of about $1.61–$2.05 and revenue of about $1.61 billion, up double digits year over year. Chip design software is the picks and shovels behind chipmaking. The more AI chips, the more it earns.
Tuesday, October 27
1. Coca-Cola $KO
The consensus expects EPS of about $0.87 and revenue of about $12.9 billion, up around 4% year over year. A defensive stock—don’t expect a surprise; just hope there’s no blowup. Oil prices are surging and driving inflation. Will passing higher costs on to consumers be a positive, or will it hurt sales? The earnings call should offer some answers.
2. Boeing $BA
Expected loss of about $0.21 per share and revenue of about $24–$24.5 billion. Watch the 737 production ramp, deliveries, and free cash flow. Boeing’s story comes down to one thing: Can it build and deliver more planes?
3. Visa $V
Expected EPS of about $3.43–$3.44 and revenue of about $12.1 billion. A payments giant with a high valuation and bullish sentiment. It has a history of beating expectations. A beat doesn’t necessarily mean the stock will rise, but a miss will definitely send it down.
Wednesday, October 28
1. Microsoft $MSFT
Analysts expect EPS of about $4.71 and revenue of about $90.6 billion, up around 16% year over year. Azure cloud revenue is expected to grow about 45% year over year. Watch whether cloud growth meets expectations, capital expenditures (over $50 billion), and margins. AI investment is starting to weigh on gross margins; the key is how much. The stock is near its 52-week high, leaving very little room for error.
2. Google $GOOGL
Expected EPS of about $2.94 and revenue of about $127.9 billion. The company doesn’t provide quarterly guidance, so the market’s reaction will depend entirely on its own interpretation. Google’s earnings will be the halftime whistle for this week’s AI narrative. If cloud keeps growing explosively, concerns about capital expenditures could ease.
Thursday, October 29
1. Eli Lilly $LLY
Expected EPS of about $5.38–$5.86 and revenue of about $22–$23 billion, with significant year-over-year growth. The company has raised its full-year revenue guidance to $85–$87 billion. The weight-loss drug story is a money-printing machine, but the question is whether the valuation has already priced in everything.
2. Amazon $AMZN
Expected EPS of about $1.96–$2.01 and revenue of about $202 billion. Watch AWS growth, retail margins, and capital expenditures. Competition in AI cloud is fierce, and GDP data is due that day. Retail is also tied to macro consumer spending, so there are two variables to watch in one day.
3. Mastercard $MA
Expected EPS of about $5.13–$5.16. As with Visa, watch transaction volume and cross-border activity. Macro consumer data is supportive. It’s cut from the same cloth as Visa: steady results, high valuation, and probably not much drama.
Friday, October 30
1. Exxon Mobil $XOM
Expected EPS of about $3.96, up sharply year over year. Oil prices and production are key. Watch upstream production and downstream profits. Strong production numbers would put results in a favorable position.
2. Chevron $CVX
Expectations are similar to those for other energy stocks. Watch production, costs, and capital expenditures. Oil prices are the biggest variable right now, and developments in the Middle East through next week could matter more to the stock’s direction than the earnings report itself.
The Fed’s policy meeting is also on Wednesday, and it will most likely stand pat!

Nvidia Still Shows No Signs of Bottoming! Is This Rally All Fake? Don’t Blindly Buy the Dip on These Hot Stocks!
1. Tesla $TSLA
Tesla has already rebounded to the 200-day moving average and its year-to-date volume-weighted average price, where it is likely to encounter selling pressure. 370 is a key near-term level; if it holds, there’s still a chance of a rebound to 380-385.
2. SpaceX $SPCX
SpaceX still needs to digest the volatility from its earnings report in the short term. The key level right now is the 143-155 trading range. 155 is a key level bulls must reclaim. If the stock can get back above 155 and hold there, it could break above 170.
3. S&P 500 $SPY
The broader market has broken below its short-term uptrend line. Around 766 is a key resistance zone. If the market rebounds to that level but can’t reclaim and hold above it, the move is likely just a weak bounce in a downtrend.
4. Nasdaq 100 $QQQ
The Nasdaq 100 has rebounded somewhat, but the move has been weaker than expected, suggesting buying pressure is still not strong enough. Even if the rebound continues in the short term, watch to see whether it can gain further strength on higher volume. It must reclaim 725.
5. Palantir $PLTR
Palantir is currently one of the more resilient stocks in the market, stabilizing quickly after pullbacks. If it can get above around 190 and hold, it could have a chance to test 208-210.
6. Micron $MU
Even if a short-term rebound occurs, the stock could encounter significant selling pressure around 900-950. Don’t mistake a bounce for a reversal until it breaks above descending resistance and confirms a trend reversal.
7. Robinhood $HOOD
The stock has repeatedly broken below key trend lines and has closed lower for five straight weeks. Historically, six consecutive weeks of declines have been very rare for the stock, so an oversold bounce is possible. Earnings next Tuesday will be a key turning point.
8. Nebius $NBIS
Nebius is at a very dangerous inflection point. Around 156 is a level bulls must defend. If the stock breaks below this level on a daily closing basis, it could pull back further to 130.
9. IREN $IREN
An inverted hammer has appeared, which could signal a short-term bottom, but a single candlestick isn’t enough to confirm one. The trend could gradually improve if the stock holds its ground and then breaks above the key descending trend line.
10. Intel $INTC
The stock formed a bullish harami near key support, giving it a chance to rebound to 90-93 in the short term. Volatility is also likely to increase significantly around earnings next Thursday.
11. Nvidia $NVDA
Nvidia still shows no clear signs of bottoming, with the stock consistently held down by its declining 5-day moving average. It bounced earlier, only to quickly get hammered again. Don’t rush to buy the dip.
12. Apple $AAPL
Many stocks were sold off soon after breaking out, and Apple could repeat that pattern. Watch for a pullback to around 340 next week and see whether it can truly hold above the breakout level.
13. Amazon $AMZN
After breaking out earlier, the stock quickly pulled back, with selling pressure picking up during the decline. The key level to watch now is whether it can hold around 246. If it breaks below that level, it could test the 200-day moving average area around 242.
14. Bitcoin $BTC
Bitcoin has repeatedly faced resistance around 85,000, and rebounds have quickly been sold off. It could still fall back below 80,000 and even retest 79,000. There’s no need to chase the rally; be patient and wait for a better entry.

🚨 THE NEXT 10 DAYS COULD BE VERY VOLATILE FOR CRYPTO.
The crypto market is fighting to hold key support. Other asset classes are under pressure, inflation remains high, and oil is trading above $100, yet crypto is still holding up.
Now, look at what's coming:
• Oct 27: Israel Election
• Oct 28: FOMC Meeting
• Oct 28: Google and Meta Earnings
• Oct 29: Amazon and Apple Earnings
• Nov 03: US Midterm Elections
Any one of these events could move the market sharply in either direction.
Key levels to watch:
• Bitcoin: $80,000, then $76,000
• ETH: $2,350
• Altcoin Market Cap: $214 billion
Bitcoin has already lost its 50-day moving average. If BTC breaks below $80,000, selling pressure could increase, potentially sending the price toward $76,000.
Avoid using high leverage over the next 10 days. A single headline could change market direction in seconds.
If you're a spot buyer, start identifying the altcoins you want to accumulate and keep some cash ready. Wait for potential panic-driven opportunities.
This doesn't mean you should sell here. It means being prepared to buy more when others are fearful.
Bitcoin's broader bull trend remains intact as long as it holds the weekly 50-day moving average, currently near $76,100.

ETF institutions with a cost basis of 84k are all underwater, and the Fed may hike rates again in December. From 126,000 down to 80,000, a 36% drawdown—everyone is waiting for a rebound, but is the 80k buy wall a floor, or a trap set by market manipulators for retail investors?
First, the surface picture: 80k is holding, but the rebound is limp.
The price is churning between 80,650 and 80,800, down 1% in 24 hours, sliding all the way from 84k–85k and repeatedly testing 80k–80.5k. The candlesticks show a buy wall at 80.4k, with selling pressure all over 81k–81.3k above. RSI at 38–45 is neutral-to-weak, MACD is negative, and the 4-hour structure is bearish. In a word: short-term weakness and choppy trading, with key support being ground down.
But the really painful part is outside the charts.
First: ETF institutions have a cost basis of 84k, and the price is now 80k. Guess who's more nervous?
On October 22, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $635 million in net outflows in a single day, one of the largest outflows of the month. October's net flows turned negative overall.
More damaging still—the average cost basis for ETF holders is around 84k. With the price now at 80.7k, institutions are collectively sitting on unrealized losses.
In plain English:
You think you're picking up a bargain by buying the dip at 80k, but you're actually helping institutions with an 84k cost basis break even.
Every rebound near 84k will run into massive selling pressure from holders trying to get out even.
The three most expensive words in a bear market aren't “it's going to zero,” but “I bought the dip.”
Institutions aren't your allies; they're underwater holders.
They want to get out more than you do—they'll just do it more gracefully.
Second: The Fed isn't cutting rates; it's hiking them, and BTC has become an ATM.
September CPI was up 3.7% year over year, above expectations; PPI was elevated; Brent crude was above $110, and inflation remains sticky. The 10-year Treasury yield is 5.3%+.
The Fed already raised rates to 3.75%–4.00% in September. Its October 27–28 meeting will most likely hold rates steady, but the probability of a December hike is 70%+.
“Higher for longer” is a suspended death sentence for risk assets.
BTC remains highly correlated with the Nasdaq. When AI tech stocks pull back, BTC shakes along with them. When liquidity tightens, BTC isn't “digital gold”—it's a high-beta ATM.
Don't treat the halving narrative as a talisman. The macro picture in 2026 is what really drives BTC.
The halving was almost two years ago; the supply narrative was priced in long ago. ETF flows, interest rates, oil prices, and geopolitics are driving prices now.
While you're watching halving charts, institutions are watching the Fed's dot plot.
Third: The 80k buy wall may be a bull trap, not an ironclad floor.
The key technical levels are clear:
Immediate support: 80,400–80,500 (recent low + psychological level)
If it breaks: the 80,000 round-number level → 79,500–79,800
Resistance: 81,000–81,300 → 81,700–82,000 → 84k (ETF cost-basis zone + strong resistance)
Liquidity data shows a buy wall around 80k, but selling pressure above is clear, and the rebound is weak.
Buyers have stepped in repeatedly at 80.4k, but the price still hasn't managed to hold above 81.3k—this shows the buying is defensive, not offensive.
A real bottom is made with a high-volume bullish candle, not by putting up a buy wall.
If risk appetite keeps declining ahead of the Fed, a break below 80.4k would put 79.5k or even 78k next.
The 80k buy wall could turn into a sell wall in an instant.
Bulls versus bears—judge for yourself
On one side:
Buyers have stepped in at 80.4k repeatedly, with short-term oversold rebound potential
The long-term narrative remains intact: cumulative net ETF inflows are still positive, corporate treasuries are adding to holdings, and supply is nearing its limit
The Fear & Greed Index is neutral at 50, nowhere near extreme fear
The 200-day moving average is still below, providing long-term support
On the other side:
$635 million in ETF outflows in a single day, institutions with an 84k cost basis sitting on unrealized losses, and selling pressure on every rebound
The probability of a December Fed hike is 70%+, and liquidity is tightening
CPI at 3.7% is above expectations, oil prices are elevated, and inflation is sticky
The 4-hour trend is bearish, rebounds are weak, and 84k is strong resistance
Key levels
Resistance above: 81,000–81,300 → 81,700–82,000 → 84,000 (make-or-break level)
Support below: 80,400–80,500 → 80,000 → 79,500–79,800
Trading strategy
Short term (1–3 days):
If 80,400–80,500 holds and a high-volume bullish candle appears, consider a light position for a rebound to 81,500–82,000, with a strict stop-loss below 80,200.
If 80,400 breaks on high volume, the bias turns bearish toward 79,500–80,000. Reduce your position or consider shorting on a rebound near 81k.
Keep positions at 5–10%. Don't use high leverage.
Medium term (around the Fed meeting):
Wait for the October 27–28 decision.
If rates stay unchanged and the statement is dovish → a rebound to 82k–84k is possible, but 84k is the institutions' breakeven zone, so don't chase.
If rate-hike expectations strengthen → a drop to 78k–79k.
Only consider adding to longs after the price holds above 84k; until then, these are rebounds, not a reversal.
Long-term holders:
You can ignore short-term volatility, but don't use leverage during macro tightening.
Hold spot, keep plenty of cash, and wait to scale in around 78k–79k or even lower.
BTC right now is like the period before the 2022 FTX collapse—
Everyone thinks “80k is an ironclad floor,” but there's always another basement below the floor.
But on the other hand, the most fearful moments in 2022 were also the best zones for long-term investors to scale in.

$BTC ISN’T OUT OF THE DANGER ZONE YET.
Bitcoin has retraced deeper, moving back and forth between key support and resistance zones. The price action is getting tighter, and a small flag/channel pattern is taking shape.
The level to watch: $78,500.
If selling pressure continues and BTC breaks down from this structure, a move toward $78,500 could be next.
But don’t count the bulls out just yet. If buyers defend support and push price back above resistance, the bearish setup could weaken quickly.
The next move depends on which side wins this battle.
Will BTC slide toward $78.5K, or will buyers step in before the breakdown?
Keep your eyes on the chart. The reaction at these levels matters more than the noise.
