CPI sets the direction tonight! Gold bulls and bears await the data to break the deadlock.
At 20:30 tonight, the U.S. September CPI data will be released. The annual rate was previously 3.4% and is expected at 3.6%; the monthly rate was previously 0.4% and is expected at 0.6%.
If the data rises above expectations, expectations for a Federal Reserve rate cut in October will cool sharply, while a stronger dollar will pressure gold, and gold prices are highly likely to fall further; if the data comes in below expectations, rate-cut expectations will heat up, the dollar will retreat, and gold may

The Asian session falls, the European session continues, and a rebound in the U.S. session means go short.
Today’s market is well suited to this rule of thumb, but don’t blindly follow it in your trading today either.
The seasonally adjusted September CPI annual rate will be released at 8:30 tonight. Based on the forecast data, the probability is relatively high that the release will be bullish for the U.S. dollar and bearish for non-U.S. products. If the bearish impact has been priced in ahead of the release, watch the resistance at 4150 above, with 4180 as the extreme level. If 4180 is decis

【October Crypto Market & BTC Intraday | October 14】
BTC is currently trading at approximately $83,400. On the daily chart, it remains above the EMA30 (approximately $82,386), but the MACD is still weak, while the RSI is around 53, indicating a corrective consolidation after the pullback. On the 1-hour chart, BTC is moving sideways around $83,000–$84,300, with no clear short-term direction yet.
Intraday levels to watch:
Resistance: $84,100–$84,350; a breakout could target around $84,800.
Support: $83,000–$82,800; a breakdown would bring the previous low zone of $81,000–$80,345 into focus.

STRC is nearing $100—can it continue rising?
📈 STRC is approaching $100. How much upside is left?
In my view, the first thing to clarify is the difference between a return to the reference price and genuine capital appreciation.
If STRC’s design, issuance terms, and market trading mechanism are all structured around a certain reference price, approaching $100 does not necessarily mean it will continue rising like an ordinary stock. Investors need to read the specific terms carefully to understand the dividend adjustment mechanism, redemption arrangements, and what may happen when the price de

ChangXin makes DRAM, while SanDisk, which makes NAND, got knocked down along with it. I’ll take this mismatch.
SanDisk pulled back 12% over three trading sessions, closing at 1487.33 on October 12, down 5.97%. It hit a new intraday low since August, then closed at 1482.33 on October 13. It’s now around 1452.
But the reason it got hit has little to do with SanDisk: ChangXin’s 4F² is a DRAM architecture, while SanDisk makes NAND. They are two different markets with two separate supply-and-demand dynamics.
Its own fundamentals haven’t changed either: revenue was 8.96 billion last quarter, up 372%

$SOL Is this wave heading back to 110?
Just after 8 p.m., someone in the group asked that.
I replied first: 110.66 was the high two days ago, and today it ran out of steam at 108.63.
The candle that surged up closed back where it started; the wick remains, but the people have already left.
Looking further down: it dipped to 101.57 two days ago, and is now at 107.52.
The 5.9% in between is being held up entirely by that wick.
Up 1.3% over 24h, with a 2.8% range; the price is grinding along the 20-day moving average, neither breaking above nor falling below it.
They asked again: So can we go lo

Today, my longtime buddy was rendered speechless by a poster, with a thousand words left unspoken.
He sent it to me to look at, and I actually didn’t know what to say either.
But I do understand him. And he understands that I understand him.

Tonight at 20:30: Preview of U.S. September CPI
This is the last inflation report before the Fed's October 27-28 FOMC meeting and will directly affect pricing for the probability of a rate hike in December. With current U.S. Treasury yields above 5% and U.S. Bitcoin ETFs seeing net outflows of approximately $386 million in October, the market is in a state of heightened tension, and volatility will increase significantly before and after the data release.
