Recently, a netizen found that on the second-hand trading platform Xianyu, a product titled “SORSOURCE 800G OSFP FR4 optical module” was listed.
“SOURCE” is the English brand name of Soursi, Dongshan Precision’s optical module subsidiary.
The incident traces back to early July, when market rumors circulated about a “small essay,” claiming that a batch of DML optical chips and unfinished 800G optical modules owned by Dongshan Precision’s Soursi were stolen during overseas warehouse logistics, with an estimated value of about $27 million.

RSI across all timeframes is running in the low range of 35-37, but no bullish divergence is seen; this suggests it is not an oversold reversal, but indicator repair within a weak consolidation. the thing that's interesting is the average realized vol is always inferior to the average forecast by decile bucket, which isnt the case in the daily forecasts

so lets add a few more lengths to the rolling annualized vol metric like 20, 60, 120, 200
here's my finger in the air kwanting and they look good
i think that adding a blend of windows will make the estimate less noisy
but we can quickly see that the forecasting accuracy goes down as we increase the rolling window, which makes sense
