The Stock Trading Share Challenge is a 30 day challenge to improve consistency, risk control, and decision quality instead of chasing returns. It starts Monday August 11 2026 and runs through Friday September 5 2026. The goal is not to post P and L screenshots. The goal is to share process, learnings, and discipline every trading day.

The July Non Farm Payrolls report came in much weaker than expected on August 8 2026 and rate cut odds spiked immediately. The US economy added 68,000 jobs versus 175,000 expected. The unemployment rate ticked up to 4.3 percent from 4.2 percent. Average hourly earnings were 0.2 percent month over month and 3.6 percent year over year.
Markets read this as clear evidence that the labor market is cooling faster than the Fed thought. Within minutes of the release, the probability of a September rate cut jumped from 68 percent to 91 percent.
