That 86,000 from ADP fooled a lot of people

Last night when ADP came out, I was watching the gold order book. 86,000, versus expectations of 65,000—a beat. My first thought was that it was bearish for gold, but gold barely pulled back at all on screen. It hovered around 4,060, then carried on as if nothing had happened. In that moment, I knew the market had sniffed out the fluff in this “above expectations” number before I did.‌

I took profit on a small position in $GRASS after holding it for a little over two weeks. I received 72u, equivalent to a return of around 23%. Looking at the market, there really doesn’t seem to be much downward momentum, so I decided to lock in the profits and exit for now.
