Bitcoin Got the CPI It Wanted — So Why Did BTC Still Fail to Break Out? 📉₿
Bitcoin had the macro catalyst.
The July US CPI data came in largely as expected. Inflation continued to cool, Treasury yields moved lower, and the probability of further immediate tightening eased.
Yet Bitcoin still failed to break out.
Instead of pushing higher, BTC briefly reached around $65,234 before falling back toward the $63K–$64K zone.
For me, that is the most important signal from this week's price action.
The problem may no longer be whether inflation is cooling.
