The market expects 65,000 jobs to be added, versus 29,000 previously, with the unemployment rate expected to hold at 4.2%. ADP added 86,000 jobs last night, above expectations, suggesting the U.S. labor market has not yet shown any clear signs of losing momentum
But the backdrop for this jobs report is a little different:
The Fed chose to pause rate hikes in October, and two officials even voted to continue raising rates. Market expectations for a December rate hike are already quite high
