On the first day of September, the thesis continues to play out.
BTC entered a short around 790, surged to 79196, met precise resistance, and then fell steadily, reaching a low of 78254.
ETH was likewise flagged for a short around 2480, touched 2484 before turning lower, and has now dipped to 2460.
I said it this morning: before the range breaks, trade at the boundaries and sit out the middle. BTC failed to hold 790 several times, while 770 is still holding. Neither bulls nor bears have gone for the kill. In this kind of market, trade the range and don’t get greedy.
