The Windows desktop PC that I configured in January 2024. If I sell it now, I’d still need to make a profit. But I still need it to fight on for another 5+ years. A friend who helped me build the machine got me a GTX 960 GPU, saying he was gifting it to me. Later, I upgraded to a 3090 Ti GPU, and then I sold the 960 for 300 yuan.
I’m planning to deploy a lightweight local large language model to do transcription for recorded audio, and also to research and learn video production.
