My Three-Pronged Intraday Trading Toolkit
I took part in Gate’s “Stock Trading Sharing Challenge,” and several fellow traders sent me private messages asking how I do intraday trading. Today I’ll share a few of my little techniques. They’re nothing profound—just methods that work well for me.
The first method is the opening-range breakout. I generally watch the price range during the first 15–30 minutes after the market opens. The market is watching CPI closely today, and for crypto traders, this could be one of the most important macro events of the week.
CPI data can directly influence expectations around the Federal Reserve’s next policy moves. A softer-than-expected inflation reading could strengthen the possibility of future rate cuts, potentially supporting risk assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. On the other hand, hotter-than-expected inflation could push yields and the U.S. dollar higher, creating pressure on crypto.
