Why Can Tokens Still Be Misidentified Even When Their Names and Symbols Are the Same?

In the Web3 world, many people start by looking at a token’s name, symbol, and icon when searching for it.

When they see a familiar name, they assume they have found the right asset; when a familiar token symbol appears in their wallet, they assume they have received the genuine token.

But this information alone cannot prove an asset’s identity.

Token names and symbols can be duplicated, and icons can be imitated. To verify an asset’s identity, you need to check the blockchain network, contract address, a

BTW, is an airdrop about to happen?
The airdrop wallet transferred $36 million out.
That money is still sitting untouched in the wallet.
No airdrop of this size has been distributed in the past year.
I think this is most likely a bear trap.
With the token price this high, distributing an airdrop is just asking for trouble, isn’t it?

$ICNT Up 34% in a day, now at 0.2999, with 24-hour trading volume nearing $80 million—that kind of volume isn't something retail traders can generate.
Think of it this way: it's like a trendy milk tea shop suddenly opening at the entrance to your neighborhood, with a line that never lets up from morning to night, and scalpers even starting to resell queue numbers. ICNT surged from 0.2211 to 0.3239, then pulled back and moved sideways around 0.30—a classic low-volume consolidation after a high-volume breakout. The market maker hasn't left; they're rotating positions.

What Is the Long-Short Ratio? Why Can Prices Still Rise Even When Shorts Seem to Have the Upper Hand?

In cryptocurrency markets, many traders pay attention to the long-short ratio. When data shows a higher proportion of shorts, some believe prices should continue to fall; when the proportion of longs is higher, others believe an uptrend is more likely to continue.

But markets do not determine prices simply by voting on headcount. The long-short ratio reflects the distribution of positions or accounts under a specific methodology, rather than directly predicting future prices.

🛑 Systemic Liquidation: Tech Deleveraging Triggers Bear Market Entry Across Asia-Pacific

The global macroeconomic landscape has transformed into a high-volatility environment following a massive, multi-trillion-dollar global market shakeout. Triggered by sudden U.S. election shifts raising serious concerns over stricter regulatory oversight across the artificial intelligence and hardware sectors, institutional risk desks initiated aggressive cross-border capital liquidations. The resulting structural shockwave swept forcefully through the Asia-Pacific session, punis

$HBAR is showing signs of pressure after long liquidations near $0.06709, suggesting that leveraged buyers have been caught on the downside. Price needs to stabilize around demand and recover nearby resistance before a meaningful bullish continuation can develop. Until then, the market remains vulnerable to further volatility.
Support: $0.0650 – $0.0670
Resistance: $0.0690 – $0.0710
Next Target: $0.0730 – $0.0750
A successful defense of support followed by a resistance breakout could shift momentum back toward buyers. Otherwise, another support test remains possible.

Gate Guard Is Now Free: What Does This Mean for Your Account Security?

Is activating an additional layer of account protection worth a few minutes of your time, especially when it costs nothing? Gate Guard makes that question easier to answer. Gate has introduced free activation of its Gate Account Protection Plan for eligible users, giving them an additional layer of protection against certain unauthorized asset transfers.

However, there is an important detail: free activation does not mean instant protection or guaranteed compensation. Understanding how the

Asia-Pacific Stocks Plunge: Why Did Markets Suddenly Turn Against Technology?

What Would You See When Markets Open?

Imagine checking your investment portfolio on Friday morning and finding that several major Asian stock markets are suddenly falling together. This is the situation that unfolded across Asia-Pacific markets on November 6, 2026.

The decline was not limited to one country or company. Japan, South Korea and Taiwan experienced signifi

Why can every trade look safe on its own, yet the portfolio as a whole carry too much risk?

Suppose you trade BTC, ETH, and SOL at the same time.

You set a stop-loss for each trade. Viewed individually, the risk of each one seems acceptable.

But if the market suddenly drops sharply, all three positions could lose money at the same time.

That’s the problem:

You’re not just managing three independent trades, but a portfolio of risk exposed to common market factors.

To assess overall risk, you need to understand at least the following five aspects.

1️⃣ Risk per trade is not the same as tot

U.S. stocks sold off sharply on Thursday, November 5 (UTC). The Nasdaq closed down around 5.5%, entering correction territory, while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index plunged roughly 12%, with chip stocks including $NVDA and $AMD posting steep losses. Beyond profit-taking, investors are growing concerned about the pace of AI data center construction, capital spending, and future returns on investment. The key question now is whether the AI sector’s lofty growth expectations need to be repriced. Where do you think the next opportunities will emerge: chip stocks, tech giants, or other sectors?
