Why is the profit still so small even when you read the market correctly?
There are three common reasons:
1. Entering too late: Your directional call was right, but there was little profit potential left.
2. Position size too small: Even if the price rises, your absolute gains are still limited by the amount you invested.
3. Trading costs too high: Fees and slippage eat into your actual profits.
Don’t just ask yourself whether you got the direction right.
More importantly: Was your entry point reasonable? Was the risk under control? How much did you actually make after costs?
