#ETH Vitalik Buterin believes that increasing Ethereum's L1 gas capacity is necessary for supporting transaction inclusion and application development, especially as most activity shifts to L2. In a new blog post, Buterin outlines calculations indicating that roughly a 10x increase in L1 capacity would maintain
