PANews July 17, according to Businesswire, ETRADE, the online investment platform of Morgan Stanley, announced that it has completed the launch of spot cryptocurrency trading functionality. Eligible customers can now directly buy, sell, and hold Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) through the ETRADE platform. It is understood that spot cryptocurrency trading fees are currently priced at 50 basis points (50 bps), and the asset transfer feature is expected to be introduced later this year.

Previously, ETRADE continued to upgrade its investment services system, including launching retirement planning tools, fractional-share trading, an upgraded IPO center, and optimizing the Power ETRADE Pro feature for active traders. Matt Jones, head of ETRADE, said that investor demand is continuously changing, and users want to complete investing, trading, asset management, and future planning on the same platform—“whether it’s buying a first stock, exploring crypto assets, or participating in IPOs and retirement planning, the platform needs to provide trustworthy services.”
