PANews July 18 news: Uniswap founder Hayden Adams said on X that he has submitted two Uniswap governance proposals for the final on-chain vote. Specifically, they are: activate v2 and v3 protocol fees on Robinhood Chain, and activate v4 protocol fees on Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Robinhood, BNB, Polygon, and Optimism. Both proposals will route all newly generated protocol fees directly into the existing UNI burn mechanism. Hayden Adams emphasized that, based on current trading volumes—especially Robinhood’s trading volume—this is expected to have a significant impact on the UNI burn mechanism.
