ME News, on July 15 (UTC+8), “Asia Onchain Finance Summit,” jointly initiated by Baillie Gifford, ETH HK Hub, SNZ, and BlockUnion, and co-hosted by Sharplink, GSR, Lido, and EthSystems, will be held on July 17 in West Kowloon, Hong Kong. The summit will bring together global institutional investors, Ethereum infrastructure builders, RWA ecosystem companies, payments and fintech firms, DeFi protocols, digital asset investment institutions, exchanges, and liquidity providers to discuss the next stage of Onchain Finance. Notably, institutional-grade Ethereum privacy technology company EthSystems officially announced its establishment yesterday. The company was founded by former members of the Enterprise Privacy Working Group of the Ethereum Foundation, and received initial funding support from SNZ Holding, Bitmine, Sharplink, as well as from Ethereum co-founder and Consensys founder Joseph Lubin, among others. It is committed to building privacy and compliance infrastructure for regulated institutions such as banks and asset management companies, tailored for Ethereum. The summit will also feature EthSystems’ first public appearance following its official launch by co-founder and CEO Mo Jalil, formerly the Enterprise Privacy lead at the Ethereum Foundation and the APAC enterprise partnerships lead. Mo will join Henry Chen, a partner at SNZ Holding and the CBO as well as co-founder of BlockUnion, for a fireside chat to explore key topics including the development trends of Ethereum institutional infrastructure, as well as privacy, security, compliance, and institutional adoption. In addition, Theo Golden, Global Head of Digital Assets at Baillie Gifford—an internationally well-known investment institution managing over $250 billion in assets—and the head of the Greater China region will also attend and deliver keynote speeches.
