Balancer attacker-linked addresses transferred 5,609 ETH to THORChain over the past 9 hours, worth $13 million

ME News, April 25 (UTC+8): According to on-chain analyst Ai Yi’s monitoring, the related attack address of the November 2025 Balancer theft incident (loss of more than $116 million) transferred 5,609 ETH to the cross-chain protocol THORChain over the past 9 hours, about $13 million, for further money laundering and cross-chain swaps. The attack has been attributed to North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group by multiple parties, consistent with the parties behind the Aave attack in the same period. In both recent incidents, Tornado Cash was used for high-frequency mixing and laundering, and the funding routes are highly similar. (Source: PANews)
