ME News, April 25 (UTC+8). According to on-chain analyst “Ai Yi” monitoring, related attacker addresses of the November 2025 Balancer theft incident (losses exceeding $116 million) transferred 5,609 ETH, worth about $13 million, to the cross-chain protocol THORChain over the past 9 hours, for further money laundering and cross-chain swaps. The attack has been attributed by multiple parties to the North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group, which is the same behind the Aave attack in the same period. Recently, both incidents have repeatedly used Tornado Cash for mixing and laundering, and the fund flow paths are highly similar. (Source: PANews)
