Brazil bans prediction market platforms

ME News news, 4月25日（UTC+8），Brazil has implemented a full ban on prediction markets and related platforms, and Kalshi and Polymarket are no longer accessible locally. The Brazilian central bank said these platforms do not meet derivatives trading regulatory requirements and pose risks to investor protection and market integrity. Finance Minister Dario Durigan said that about 28 platforms are covered by this ban. (Source: MLion)
