Balancer attacker-linked addresses transferred 5,609 ETH to THORChain in the past 9 hours, worth $13 million

ME News, April 25 (UTC+8). According to on-chain analyst Ai Yi monitoring, the associated attack addresses of the November 2025 Balancer theft incident (loss exceeding $116 million) have transferred 5,609 ETH to cross-chain protocol THORChain over the past 9 hours, worth about $13 million, for further money laundering and cross-chain swaps. The attack has been attributed by multiple parties to North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group, which is consistent with the entity behind the Aave attack in the same period. Recently, both incidents have frequently used Tornado Cash for mixing and cleaning, and the fund flow paths are highly similar. (Source: PANews)
