ME News, July 5 (UTC+8), DeFi researcher Ignas commented on Vitalik Buterin's previously released "Simplified Ethereum" roadmap, stating that "if the Ethereum Foundation can deliver on time, it is bullish for ETH. The roadmap is very attractive because it responds to most of the key demands from the community feedback, including L1 reclaiming execution rights from L2, privacy protection, quantum resistance, and sub-second finality, but the tokenomics issue is still not addressed." He also pointed out that the most anticipated parts of the roadmap will be implemented after 2028, with the finality goal set for 2029. If the Ethereum Foundation (EF) delivery schedule is delayed and the bear market continues, it could be bearish for ETH price, because competing projects like Tempo and Canton are competing with Ethereum in the areas of real-world assets (RWA) and institutional adoption.
