Argentina vs Algeria is one of the most interesting matches of the group stage for me.
Argentina enters the tournament as the defending champion and still has the quality, experience, and winning mentality needed to go deep once again. Algeria is a dangerous team with plenty of energy and counterattacking threat, but overcoming Argentina over 90 minutes is a huge challenge.
My prediction:

I expect Argentina to control possession and create the better chances throughout the match. Algeria will fight hard and could find a goal, but Argentina’s experience in big tournaments should make the difference when it matters most.
