💼 He displayed luxury cars, cryptocurrencies, and success on Instagram… before being found dismembered and cut into pieces in a suitcase.

On July 23, 2023, in Argentina, children retrieved a ball that had fallen into the water when they spotted a floating suitcase near the shore.
Upon opening it, they discovered a horror scene: pieces of human body parts.
Investigators quickly identified the victim through his tattoos and fingerprints.
It was Fernando Pérez Algaba, a 41-year-old trader, influencer, and entrepreneur who had disappeared a few days earlier.
The autopsy revealed that he had been shot three times before his body was cut up and scattered in several suitcases.
A few days before his death, Algaba had posted worrying messages on social media mentioning people trying to destroy him.
Voice messages recovered by investigators contained extremely violent threats.
The influencer was drowning in debt, pursued by the Argentine tax authorities, and had several financial conflicts, especially related to investments and activities around cryptocurrencies.
A creditor was demanding $70,000 from him, while another openly threatened to “tear his head off” to recover his money.
Argentine authorities ultimately arrested several suspects in this case, but this murder remains one of the most chilling news stories ever linked to the crypto world in South America.
