⚖️ The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation has officially included cryptocurrency, digital rights, and the digital ruble in the list of objects of theft.
Now, in the Supreme Court’s explanations, it is stated directly that the subject of theft, robbery, and armed robbery may include:
➠ Digital currency (BTC, ETH, etc.).
➠ Digital rights (including CFA and stablecoins).
➠ The digital ruble.
➠ Cashless funds and non-documentary securities.
Previously, crypto assets had already been recognized as property; however, in the Supreme Court’s explanations on theft, robbery, and armed robbery cases, they were not explicitly mentioned.
