The most important thing in life is to reduce the increase of system entropy.


Health: Quit smoking, control alcohol intake, maintain regular sleep, stick to exercise, eat healthily. Essentially, it is reducing the wear and tear on the body's system.
Emotions: Reduce complaints, reduce anxiety, reduce anger, reduce internal conflicts, reduce meaningless comparisons. Essentially, it is reducing energy leakage in the psychological system.
Cognition: Reduce information noise, reduce emotional judgments, reduce thinking inertia, reduce errors in world models. Essentially, it is reducing distortion in the cognitive system.
Relationships: Reduce consuming relationships, reduce ineffective social interactions, reduce trust breaches, reduce long-term conflicts. Essentially, it is reducing friction in the social system.
Business: Reduce cash flow leakage, reduce wrong decisions, reduce management loss of control, reduce resource waste. Essentially, it is reducing entropy increase in organizational systems.
Investing: Reduce emotional trading, reduce chasing highs and selling lows, reduce high leverage gambling, reduce permanent capital loss. Essentially, it is reducing damage to the capital system.
All excellent life strategies are fundamentally doing the same thing: reducing the increase of system entropy. Don’t chase results; maintain the system well, and the results will come naturally.
