Nigeria has a lot of problems on its hands, so sometimes I find it hard to believe that we’ve gotten to a point where one of our biggest conversations is about whether men or women benefit more from marriage.

we’ve seen religious wars. We’ve seen tribal wars.
now, it feels like the newest trend is a gender war.
every day, it’s men vs women. Men want to be seen as the prize, while women don’t want to be made to feel less than they are. Instead of understanding each other, everyone seems to be trying to prove a point.
the saddest part is that some men are beginning to rethink the idea of marriage altogether.
More and more young men are starting to believe that marriage isn’t worth it, and if this continues, we may end up with a generation that has completely lost interest in building families.
Honestly, it’s tiring.
men and women are not supposed to be enemies. We all have our strengths, our flaws, and our roles to play in society.
Life is already hard enough without turning every conversation into a battle of the sexes.
I just hope we get back to a place where people respect one another, focus on what truly matters, and stop treating every disagreement as a war.
As a country and as a society, we have much bigger issues to deal with.
