Tinubu’s policies may have turned Nigeria’s GDP growth around.
But the real question is: has that growth reached the average Nigerian?
because what’s the point of celebrating GDP growth when poverty is still biting harder and life keeps getting more expensive?
An economy can grow on paper while the people remain stuck.
That isn’t development.
That’s enclave growth — growth concentrated in one corner of the economy, while the benefits barely make it to the streets.
GDP growth means little if Nigerians can’t feel it in their pockets.

Me as a person, I’d rather work with someone who has years of experience in a particular line of business than a newcomer.
It’s the same way I see Tinubu playing his cards in Osun.
He understood that Adeleke has been in charge for over 3 years and already has a strong connection with the people.
With Adeleke’s party having endorsed Tinubu, it would be much easier for him to leverage that existing support base.
On the other hand, Ambo would only have about two months, from November to December, to build a strong support base in Osun and convince people to vote for Tinubu.
That’s not going to
Nigerians seem not to understand Tinubu’s style of politics.
Tinubu’s politics has always been about give and take.
What happened yesterday may look like a simple election loss for APC, but I believe there could be a bigger strategy behind it, especially with 2027 in mind.
did you see Tinubu in Osun campaigning for his party’s candidate?
Did you see his son, Seyi Tinubu, there?
Did you see his wife there ?
Did you see the vice president there ?
No.
Maybe Tinubu deliberately allowed the election to play out this way to build public confidence in INEC and position himself better ahead of 2027.

ai is a threat to you
ai was created to solve complex problems for humans, just like computers were when they first came into our lives.
the only way ai becomes a threat to you is if you refuse to adapt to it.
think about typewriters. people who built their careers preparing documents on typewriters but refused to adapt when personal computers came along eventually found themselves pushed out of the industry.
it wasn’t the computer that ended their careers. it was their refusal to change with the times.
ai works the same way.
it’s here to make things easier and solve problems that could have
