Omniston is no longer just an internal story of TON. The protocol, which previously searched for the best rates within the network, is now testing cross-chain routes. And this is not just an announcement, but an already functioning beta test.

Currently, in the test version of the app, you can try exchanges between $TON and other networks: ETH, BNB, Base, Polygon. Not all tokens are available yet, but for example, USDT can already be transferred between networks via Omniston. And that in itself is interesting.

Previously, for this, you had to use bridges, wait, face additional fees. But now, within STONfi through Omniston, you can perform exchanges directly. The protocol itself finds the best route, coordinates execution, and tracks the transaction.

It's clear that this is still a test, not everything works perfectly. But the direction is already visible. Omniston is turning into a cross-chain layer that connects networks together. And STONfi is at the forefront of this.

For an ordinary user, this means that soon, exchanges between networks will become as routine as a regular swap within TON. And for now, we wait for the test to transition into a full launch.
