Gensler Backs Ohio Against Kalshi in Prediction Market Court Fight

Gary Gensler filed a June 11 amicus brief backing Ohio against Kalshi in the Sixth Circuit fight over sports prediction markets. Kalshi is appealing a March ruling that its sports contracts are likely not swaps. The CFTC and DOJ have sued six states to defend exclusive federal jurisdiction.
