ME News Report, May 18 (UTC+8), The New York Times' latest poll shows that U.S. President Trump's approval rating has dropped to a new low of 37% for a second term, with 59% of respondents expressing dissatisfaction.
Most voters hold negative views on Trump's handling of the economy, inflation, living costs, and the Iran war.
The survey indicates that 49% of respondents believe the U.S. economy is "bad," an increase of 11 percentage points since January this year, and only 28% think Trump has properly managed the cost of living.
Other polls show that since the U.S. and Israel launched attacks on Iran at the end of February this year, Trump's support rate has remained below 40%, and rising oil prices along with economic pressures from the war continue to weaken market and public confidence. (Source: BlockBeats)
