Let me tell you what I think.

there has been a deliberate political sabotage against the chances of an Igbo person becoming President of Nigeria.
some people may disagree, but this is a reality many Nigerians have ignored or refused to discuss for years.
One of the biggest fears among those who benefit from the current system is what an Igbo presidency could mean for the South East.
An Igbo president would naturally pay more attention to developing a region that many believe has not received its fair share of federal infrastructure and investment over the years.
Imagine a south east with
better road networks,
modern infrastructure,
seaport,
international airport and cargo
with increased federal presence, industrial growth, and stronger economic opportunities.
what do you think would happen?
Lagos would not collapse. Abuja would not collapse. Neither would any other region.
But they would certainly feel the impact.
Economic activities would become more spread out, businesses would have more options, investors would have new destinations, and the South East would emerge as an even stronger economic force.
That is why I believe the sabotage is not really about competence or leadership.
It is about protecting existing political and economic interests.
The fear is that once the South East is given the same level of opportunity and development, the balance of economic influence in Nigeria could begin to shift.
The truth is that the development of the South East should not be seen as a threat to any region.
A prosperous Igbo land would not weaken Nigeria, it would strengthen it.
When every region is given the opportunity to grow, the entire country wins.
