The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has rejected FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried's (SBF) appeal to overturn his fraud conviction and 25-year prison sentence. The court stated that the prosecution's evidence was "extremely sufficient," upholding his guilty verdict on seven counts of fraud and conspiracy in 2023. The prosecution previously accused SBF of embezzling approximately $8 billion of FTX customer funds to cover Alameda Research losses. (Reuters)
