Unlike traditional systems that rely on fixed infrastructure, decentralized networks are constantly changing. New participants join, existing peers leave, and bandwidth availability sinternet still relies heavily on centralized infrastructure.
While effective in many situations, centralized systems can introduce risks ranging from service interruptions to single points of failure.
BitTorrent was created to approach this challenge differently.

Decentralized applications require decentralized foundations.
