Sharing experience of one of my close friend i never thought I’d be writing something like this
He is 30 years old and crypto has taken him to the lowest point of his life as per him
A year ago he was convinced he was building toward financial freedom
Today he is sitting on more than $55,000 in debt, owing money to friends and family, with almost nothing left to his name
What hurts him most is how much this space has changed
It used to feel like anyone could find a gem early and change their situation
Now it feels like every launch is controlled, every move is known in advance by someone, and regular traders are just exit liquidity
I kept believing the next trade would be the one that got him back on his feet
The next trade never came
Instead, he watched his savings disappear, his debt pile up, and his mental health get worse month after month
These days he is spending more time thinking about how to start over than how to make money
If he could go back and give himself one piece of advice, it would be simple
Don’t confuse hope with an investment strategy
Right now he is just trying to figure out how to rebuild his life from the mess he has created
