CryptoWorld News: Prometheus, an AI startup founded by Jeff Bezos, has completed a new round of financing, raising $12 billion and reaching a valuation of $41.0 billion. Investors include JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs Group, BlackRock, and Bezos himself. Prometheus is co-managed by Bezos and former Google executive Vik Bajajji, and currently has about 150 employees. Its R&D focuses on AI models and tools, aiming to help entities in industries such as computing and aerospace with product engineering design and manufacturing. In addition, Prometheus plans to raise up to $100 billion to establish a holding company that will directly acquire real-world companies expected to benefit from the company’s new technology.
