Crypto World News reports that MassPay has announced a partnership with Coinbase to integrate stablecoin funds and settlement into its cross-border payment network, enabling business customers to make USDC-based payments in 180 countries. Eligible MassPay customers can send USDC globally and manage financial operations through Coinbase Prime Custody, including on-chain settlement transactions, while avoiding the limitations of traditional international payment channels. This integration brings Coinbase’s payment infrastructure into the MassPay platform. Coinbase’s payment API will provide custody, payment orchestration, and payment capabilities, so businesses can access stablecoin payments without building their own crypto infrastructure. The arrangement is intended to address long-standing challenges in cross-border payments: businesses can fund transactions with USD, convert to USDC, and then distribute funds to recipients receiving USDC, other digital assets, or local fiat through a single payment process.

One-click distribution of USDC, the recipient experience should be several orders of magnitude faster than SWIFT.

Traditional cross-border payments indeed have too many pain points; this collaboration has made things much easier for businesses.
